She was an avid golfer and curler, enjoyed playing bridge, and
spending time at the Ridgetown Seniors Centre. The family will
receive Friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street
East Ridgetown on Tuesday from 2: 00-4:30 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Doctor J.J. Harrold
Died suddenly on Saturday, June 14, 2008. Born in 1929 in Scotland
and raised in Alberta, he was ordained a minister of The Presbyterian
Church in Canada in 1957. He was called to congregations in British
Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario where he cared for
God's people with courageous pastoral heart. His ministry included
work on numerous church committees and in 1989 he served as Moderator
of the 115th General Assembly of The Presbyterian Church in Canada.
He was named Minister Emeritus, Glenview Presbyterian Church,
Toronto. A committed church leader, he worked faithfully for
denominational strength, ecumenical breadth and community integration.
His contribution extended to service organizations. He loved
to read, he loved to sing, he loved his family. Harrold was loved
by his wife

Passed away in peace at Saint Marys Memorial Hospital, Saint Marys,
on May 27, 2008. Beloved wife of Ron, loving mother of Mike and

Bev worked as a bank clerk at the Province of Ontario Savings
Office until her retirement in 1990. She enjoyed working with
the staff at the bank and everyone that Bev knew liked her. She
was devoted to her family and thought of others before herself.
She provided joy and happiness to the family and will be greatly
missed. Thanks to Friends and neighbours for their support. Thanks
to the staff of Saint Marys Memorial Hospital and Victoria Hospital
for all the wonderful and loving care. A special thanks to the
nurses and doctors of the West Wing at Saint Marys Memorial Hospital.
