McKINLAY, Kathryn Clare (née McGREGOR)
A resident of R.R.#2 Blenheim, Kathryn C. McKINLAY passed away after a brief illness at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Saturday March 29, 2008 at the age of 77 years. Born in Blenheim, daughter of the late John D. and Clare NEILSON) McGREGOR. Beloved wife of R. Allan McKINLAY. Dear mother of Janet and Joe LEGUE of Dorchester, Margot and Gord BICKELL of Little Current, Jim and Mary McKINLAY of R.R.#2 Blenheim, Martha and David WICKWARE of Montreal and JoAnn and Dan NEAD of Toronto. Grandmother of 13 grandchildren. Sister of the late JoAnn CUNNING. Also surviving are sister-in-laws Margaret THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON of R.R.#2 Blenheim and Edith McKINLAY of Morpeth. Kathy was a member of Erie Street United Church and the former Morpeth United Church. She was an avid golfer and curler, enjoyed playing bridge, and spending time at the Ridgetown Seniors Centre. The family will receive Friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East Ridgetown on Tuesday from 2: 00-4:30 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 1: 30 p.m. with Rev. Judith FAYTER officiating. Interment of cremated remains at a later date. Donations to the Victorian Order of Nurses, the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation (MRI campaign) or the Canadian Cancer Society appreciated. YOUNG, Dorothy L. (née KER)
Suddenly at The Woodhaven on Saturday, March 8, 2008, in her 102nd year. Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late Ryerson Allen YOUNG and devoted mother of Dale YOUNG (Vi BRADBURY,) Sandra NEUGEBAUER (Dierk) and the late Carol NEAL (and her surviving husband Doug). She will be lovingly remembered by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the rest of her extended family and Friends. Friends will be received at the Dixon-Garland Funeral Home, 166 Main Street N. (Markham Road), Markham, Monday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Jubilee United Church, 40 Underhill Drive, Don Mills on Tuesday at 11: 00 a.m. Reception to follow. MORRIS, The Reverend Doctor J.J. Harrold
Died suddenly on Saturday, June 14, 2008. Born in 1929 in Scotland and raised in Alberta, he was ordained a minister of The Presbyterian Church in Canada in 1957. He was called to congregations in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario where he cared for God's people with courageous pastoral heart. His ministry included work on numerous church committees and in 1989 he served as Moderator of the 115th General Assembly of The Presbyterian Church in Canada. He was named Minister Emeritus, Glenview Presbyterian Church, Toronto. A committed church leader, he worked faithfully for denominational strength, ecumenical breadth and community integration. His contribution extended to service organizations. He loved to read, he loved to sing, he loved his family. Harrold was loved by his wife Jeanette MacDONALD; daughters Mary JESSE (Howard) and their children John and Christeen, The Reverend Jean MORRIS (Matthew VYSE,) Jo MORRIS (Graham PELAT) and their son Ian; step-daughters Tracey METHVEN (David NEALE) and their son Timothy, Nicole METHVEN (Paul SMITH) and their children Cameron and Hannah. He is predeceased by his wife Morag MacRAE, and his sisters Jessie MacKAY, Agnes REINHART and Jean WHITT. Friends may call at the Trull "North Toronto" Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 2704 Yonge Street (5 blocks south of Lawrence), on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. A celebration of Harrold's life and a Service of Witness to the Resurrection will be held at Glenview Presbyterian Church, 1 Glenview Avenue, Toronto, on Friday, June 20, 2008 at 2 p.m. Memorial gifts to Glenview Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund or to Presbyterian World Service and Development (www.presbyterian.ca/donate/pwsd) are welcome.

Passed away in peace at Saint Marys Memorial Hospital, Saint Marys, on May 27, 2008. Beloved wife of Ron, loving mother of Mike and Brian, proud grandmother of Alexander and dear sister of Reg NEAR. Bev worked as a bank clerk at the Province of Ontario Savings Office until her retirement in 1990. She enjoyed working with the staff at the bank and everyone that Bev knew liked her. She was devoted to her family and thought of others before herself. She provided joy and happiness to the family and will be greatly missed. Thanks to Friends and neighbours for their support. Thanks to the staff of Saint Marys Memorial Hospital and Victoria Hospital for all the wonderful and loving care. A special thanks to the nurses and doctors of the West Wing at Saint Marys Memorial Hospital. A private family service will be held at the Saint Marys Cemetery. Loving mother of Ronald and his wife Joyce, David, Barry and his wife Joanne. Beloved grandmother of Roger, Christopher, Wendy, Jennifer, Stephanie and Taylor.
