A school teacher by profession, Dollie served overseas in England
with her husband Don during World War 2. Following the war, Dollie
lived in Windsor, moving to Oakville to be part of the "Ford
Family" in the early fifties. Grace was a long-time member of
Saint_John's United Church in Oakville, and more recently, Camlachie
United Church.
Special thanks to Fiddick's Nursing and Retirement Home in Petrolia
for their kind and thoughtful care of Mom in these last years.
Dollie will be fondly remembered for her calm demeanor, her quiet
determination and her unwavering love and support for all her
family members. She loved animals, her creatures great and small,
most especially her feathered Friends.
It was Dollie's wish to be cremated, and she will be buried next
to her loving husband Don in Windsor, Ontario.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

United Church building fund.

known to local florists and passerby's for the beautiful gladiolas
that he grew and sold as a hobby. Friends will be received at

Felix was born in Castelnuovo, Italy on July 13, 1938. He was
a proud Canadian, arriving in Saint_John, New Brunswick in 1959
with no knowledge of the English language and a degree from the
Polytechnical Institute of Trieste. His first job in Canada was
as a service station attendant, taken so that he could learn
English and the ways of his adopted country. Felix made it his
goal to never stop learning. He was a design technologist, design
engineer, project engineer, and chief engineer, finishing his
career as President of his own company, Industrial Components and
Equipment Co., specializing in water and air pollution. He completed
studies in mechanical engineering through the Kentucky University,
completed a diploma in Business Administration Management Studies
at Conestoga College, received his Master Degree in Environmental
Science from the University of Pennsylvania, and received his
Doctor of Philosophy in Environmental Management from State University
of New York. A member of the Ontario Association of Certified
Engineering Technicians and Technologists since 1984, Felix was
also a member of the New York Society of Professional Engineers,
The American Society of Certified Engineering Technicians, The
Institute of Chartered Engineers of Canada (Fellow Member), and
The Institute of Incorporated Engineers in the United Kingdom
(Fellow Member). He was also the recipient of numerous awards
and citations. In 2005, Ontario Association of Certified Engineering
Technicians and Technologists created the Doctor Felix and Barbara
Degan Award, honouring his years of involvement and Barbara's
years of support, by giving an outstanding international technology
student from an Ontario college a yearly bursary award. Felix
was a dedicated family man, always there to offer his guidance,
love and support. His family meant more to him than anything
else in the world. Visitation will be held at the Gilbert MacIntyre
and son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, on
Thursday, July 3, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Felix
will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 3 p.m. A Funeral
Mass will be held at Saint_Joseph's Church, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph

Born in Collingwood, Ontario on October 9, 1923, Edna grew up
in Collingwood later moving to Toronto where she met and married
Bill in 1955. Immediately after the wedding she and Bill moved
to Calgary where Catherine and Sheila were born. Edna returned
to Toronto in 1966 with Bill's transfer and lived there until
1997 when she moved back to Calgary to be closer to her family.
A very active member of the Presbyterian Church she spent many
years serving the Church in a variety of capacities, the most
recent of which was with the Board of World Missions. Edna was
a longstanding member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (Calgary),
Iona Presbyterian Church (Toronto) and Glenview Presbyterian
Church (Toronto) where she served as an elder.
Edna was a resident of the Forest Grove Care Centre at the time
of her passing and her family would like to thank Forest Grove
for their care of and attention to Edna for the past 18 months.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11: 00 a.m. on Thursday April 24,
2008 at Glenview Presbyterian Church, 1 Glenview Avenue, Toronto,
Ontario M4R 1P5.

Peacefully, in Collingwood on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at the
age of eighty three. Bill was predeceased by his beloved wife
Shirley (SAXE) and is survived by his sons Michael (Susan,) Peter
(Frances) and Robert (Jane) and grandchildren Brian, Warren,
Kathryn and Robert.
Following his service in the Royal Canadian Navy in World War 2
Bill obtained his degree in electrical engineering from the University
of Toronto. Over the years he resided in Toronto, London, Brampton,
Parry Sound and Collingwood but home was always at the cottage
his father built in the outer islands of north eastern Georgian
Bay. As a life member of the Pointe au Baril Islander's Association
his dedication to the community remains recognized.
A memorial service will be held at the Trinity Anglican Church,
6 Church Street, Parry Sound at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 12,

Christie Lake, Perth, Ontario, February 27, 2008, at the age

and Earle. He leaves his wife Bonnie and his daughters Cathryn

a teacher and an accomplished painter, potter and sculptor. She
was a distinguished member of the Canadian Sculpture Society
and the Colour and Form Society for many years. Many thanks to
Living Assistance Services for the provision of excellent caregivers
in her home for the past three years. A special thank you is
extended to Jocelyn
AQUIRO who was her primary caregiver over
that period of time. Her daughter Marcia also wishes to express
her deepest appreciation for the professional skills and kindness
of the staff on the 14th floor and in the Palliative Care Unit
of Saint Michael's Hospital. A memorial service will be held at
a future date to celebrate her life and her art. Cremation. Placement
in the Garden of Remembrance at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. If desired,
