On Tuesday March 11, 2008, at the age of 88 years. Predeceased
by her devoted husband, Richard Lorne, in 2003. Madeline is survived
by her only child, Lois Elaine

of her life. Madeline's brother, Paul

and nephews will also miss her. Madeline's struggles with mental
illness were known by all who were close to her and but her victories
in life to overcome all that were extraordinary. On behalf of
Madeline, the "Lady in Red", the family expresses heartfelt appreciation
to all the staff of Sunrise Senior Living, Richmond Hill who
loved and cared for her during the last four years of her life.
Friends may call at Marshall Funeral Home, 10366 Yonge Street,
Richmond Hill (4 traffic lights north of Major Mackenzie Drive)
on Friday, March 14, 2008 from 7-9 in the evening. A Funeral
Mass will be held at Saint Mary Immaculate Church on Saturday,
March 15, 2008 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation to The
York Central Hospital Foundation or a mental health organization
of your choice would be truly appreciated.

On Monday, April 7, 2008, Malle passed away at Saint Michael's
Hospital with her loving husband of 52 years, Henn, and children,
Peter and Marika, at her side. Cherished Mother-in-law to Danielle
CORRIVEAU-
MAESTE and Gerry
CROZIER and proud and doting Nana
to Andrew and Ingrid. An enthusiastic reader with a keen interest
in a broad range of subjects ranging from European history, travel,
antiques, fine dining to mysteries and current events, she inspired
us all to learn and appreciate. Malle was a talented gourmet
cook, an avid art and antique collector and was an accomplished
artist and painter. Malle was a kind, gentle and compassionate
soul, proud of her Estonian heritage, always supportive, quick
to laugh and genuinely interested in those around her. She will
be sadly missed by all. Funeral services will be held on Thursday,
April 10, at Murray Newbigging, Mount Pleasant Ave at 11 a.m.
A family visitation is scheduled for Wednesday evening between
7 and 9 P.M.
