WEIRMIER, Ross Laverne
Of Chesley, passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 in his 87th year. Ross will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mildred of 62 years. Dear father of Carol (Doug) JONES of Kitchener and Les (Paulette) WEIRMIER of Owen Sound. Cherished grandfather of Kris (Mark) JONES- HILLEBRANDT of Kingston, Lorie (Rob) GRANT of Kitchener, Bryan (Sabrina) WEIRMIER of Toronto and Angela (Bryan) LOZON of Waterloo as well as delighted great-grandfather of Andrew GRANT. He is also fondly remembered by his several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sisters Lois SCHOPF and Phyllis TURNER. Ross was a veteran of World War 2 serving in the Royal Canadian Air Force, stationed in England. He was a lifetime member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church and a proud lifetime resident of Chesley. Friends may call at Cameron Funeral Home, Chesley on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Royal Canadian Legion service will be held on Sunday evening at 6: 30 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Monday, June 9, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment in Chesley Cemetery. A resident of Mitchell's Bay, passed away peacefully at the Wallaceburg Hospital on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 in her 90th year. Rachel is the daughter of the late Alphonse and Julia VERMEERSCH. Beloved wife of the late Arsene LOZON. Loving mother of Alvin and Eleanor LOZON of Owen Sound and Albert and Peggy LOZON of Wallaceburg. Grandmother of Alan and Stephanie, Bryan and Angela, Marty and Linda and Michelle LOZON. Great-grandmother of Marshall, Alyssa, Addison, Linden, Alex, Jeremy and Kristen. Sister of the late James VERMEERSCH. Dearest friend of Lynda LOVELL. Friends may call at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street (at Elgin) in Wallacburg from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday. LOZYNSKY, Orest
(February 7, 1950-January 16, 2008)
It is with great sadness that his family announces the sudden passing of Orest LOZYNSKY in Dallas, Texas, January 16, 2008.
He is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his daughters Trisha LOZYNSKY of Burlington, Ontario and Andrea LOZYNSKY of Toronto, Ontario; his brothers Igor LOZYNSKY of Red Deer, Alberta, Boris LOZYNSKY of Calgary, Alberta and Jerry LOZYNSKY of North Vancouver, British Columbia. and his long time companion, Lucy CASACIA of Oakville, Ontario.
Orest had a zest for life and enjoyed cooking and entertaining. He will be remembered as a kind man who was unfailingly generous and supportive of family and Friends.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10: 00 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Saint Michael's Cathedral, 65 Bond Street, Toronto, Ontario.
