It is with great sadness that the family of Kilburn LONDON announces his passing on July 19, 2008, at the age of 92. Born in Millinocket, Maine, and raised in Saint John, New Brunswick, he was the son of the late Alice PARKER and Doctor Jepson LONDON. He was predeceased by his sister Edna, brothers Woodrow and Allison and by his wife Madeline Pearl PRINCE. He is survived by daughter Sandi and son Michael (Karyn COOPER.) He was a beloved Pop-pop to grandchildren Christine GUPTILL (Jamie BYL) and James GUPTILL (Jeanette ETTEL) and Victoria and Jepson LONDON, and great-grandchildren Morgan BYL and Joshua GUPTILL. Fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Joan LONDON and Jessie LONDON, and his many nieces and nephews and their families. He served as a Lieutenant during the Second World War in Canada, Labrador and Europe. He had a distinguished career with the Bank of Nova Scotia that spanned 45 years. Cremation has taken place. Beloved husband of Eva (née LONEY) for 56 years. Loving father of Scott and Kathryn of R.R.#1, Woodstock and Blake and Marion of R.R.#5, Woodstock. Dear grandfather of Amanda, Marnie (Mike SCHNEIDER,) Jessica, Christopher and Jennifer, and great-grandfather of Amelie SCHNEIDER. Brother of Jim KRAMER (Pat) of Ingersoll, and brother-in-law of Joanne KRAMER of Port Elgin, Helen MOIR of Brantford and Mary RUSSELL of London. Also survived by two aunts, several nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as Friends. Glen retired from the former Standard Tube after 36 years of service. He enjoyed hunting and family camping for the last 50 years, as well as dancing and country music. Karen passed away peacefully at home on May 29th, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Karen lived her life with creativity, joy, competence, and love. She will forever be remembered for her dedication to family, kindness and generosity, as well as her beautiful smile. Karen loved the outdoors and had a true gift for connecting with children. Karen was born on March 15th, 1956 in Winnipeg. She graduated from Dakota High School (1973) and the University of Manitoba (1977). In 1979 Karen moved to Toronto where she became a valued and respected actuary. Karen is survived by her beloved husband Scott, her loving children Alison and Douglas, her parents William and Margaret LONG, and her brother Mitchell LONG. She is also survived by Douglas and Mary CAMPBELL, her father- and mother-in-law, two nieces, four nephews, six sisters-in-law, and three brothers-in-law. She is much loved and will truly be missed. Matriarch, wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend, caregiver, music teacher, school concert organizer. Born September 28, 1944, in Trinidad and Tobago. Died February 23 in Toronto of brain cancer, aged 63.

All her life, Diane gave. It was a duty thrust upon her at an early age, but one she chose later in life.
Born Diane KASSIE, her mother died when she was 8, leaving her father with six children, including a newborn just two hours old. Diane, the first-born, helped raise her siblings.
She took piano lessons and, with her musical skills, became the pianist at her church while still in her teens.
In 1968, Diane immigrated to Toronto. She worked and took night courses, eventually graduating from the University of Toronto. In 1972, she began her teaching career - primarily in music - with the Toronto Board of Education.
Diane met Doug LONGLEY in Toronto. They married in 1978 and raised two children, Catherine and Kelly.
Diane was a sociable person with a wonderful laugh and a sense of humour that shone through any situation. After she was diagnosed with cancer, as she arranged for her burial, she said, "Well, I just bought myself some new property!"
She was a dedicated teacher and had a keen interest in the world around her. Never one to mince words, she expressed her thoughts with passion, colour and wisdom. Her words were not always soft, but her heart was.
Music brought joy and peace to Diane's life. It was a love she shared through teaching - students would return from her classes humming tunes, and concert audiences would often be moved to tears.
Her empathy was extraordinary. You could count on her when times got tough. As a mother and aunt, she taught the younger generation many life lessons. She believed in cultivating strong relationships with family and Friends, encouraged finding one's potential through education and urged choosing a career that fed one's passion.
Diane taught the difference between a house and a warm and loving home, frequently welcoming visitors to a home-cooked meal.
At Toronto Grace Hospital, where she lived her final days, she charmed staff and visitors, celebrated birthdays and gathered her children, nieces, nephews and Friends to tell them witty life stories, evoking howls of laughter - so alien in a palliative setting.
Her niece, Roshini, a trombonist, captured Diane's aura at her farewell: "You will always be the music in my life, Auntie Diane, and I will always play for you. I will always remember your wonderful stories and smile - always with music in my heart."

TRELIVING, Williamina "Mina" Lamb (née GARDNER)
It is with heavy hearts and a lifetime of memories that we share in the passing of our much loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Mina TRELIVING.
Mina was born in Virden, Manitoba where she spent her married life and raised her family. In 2000, she moved to Calgary, Alberta and resided there until her passing.
Mina passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on January 2, 2008 in Palm Springs, California. She joined her beloved Ted (1987) and cherished grand_son Chadwyck LONGMAN (1992) as well as her parents James and Mary GARDNER and siblings Mowbry, Rita, Melvin, Cecil, Douglas and Lawson through Heaven's Gate.
Mina was an inspiration to all that crossed her path and will be truly missed by many. Her wisdom and stories will live on through her cherished family. She is survived by her children Jim and wife Sandi TRELIVING, Joy and husband Guy LONGMAN, Pat and husband John BASTONE; grandchildren Cheryl, Brad and wife Julie TRELIVING, Jody and husband Darcy McILWAIN, Grant, Scott and Brock BASTONE, Kate and Dan BEAUCHAMP; great-grandchildren Candace, Sam, Chad, Brock, Ryann and Reese. She will be deeply missed by her sister Mae ROBERTS and numerous nieces and nephews.
Our family has been blessed to have had Mina a part of our lives for so many wonderful years. She would wish for all those reading this to live each day to the fullest. Enjoy and cherish your family and Friends and have faith in the Lord. As Mina would say, "God Bless you all until we meet again". A celebration of Mina's life was held at Saint Mary's Anglican Church, Virden, Manitoba, Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 2: 00 p.m. with Father Don Bernhardt officiating. Interment was in Virden Cemetery. If Friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in memory of Mina may be made to Saint Mary's Anglican Church Hall Building Fund, P.O. Box 15, Virden, Manitoba R0M 2C0.

Loving mother of Doctor Bruce HENNING (Helen) of Oxford England, Donald HENNING (Diane) of Ottawa and Pamela HENNING of Ottawa. Proud grandmother of Doctor Sarah LONGNUS (Pierre) of Mulhouse, France, George HENNING (Christina) of Ottawa and Leo HENNING (Dana) of Toronto. Great-grandmother of Max LONGNUS of Mulhouse, France, Cypress HENNING and Sequoia HENNING of Toronto and Madelyn HENNING of Ottawa.
