DACOSTA, Frank " Non"
Peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, June 10th, 2008, Frank "Non" DACOSTA of London at the age of 67. Adored husband of Valerie. Admired and cherished dad of Dominique (Larry ROUSSEAU), Danielle (Dwayne EDEN), Jilaine and Mark LOMAS, Rebecca (Steve MORUP,) Nieve and Will LOMAS, and Tassie and Dorian. Loving Poppy of Rowan and Max, Justin and Alex, Hannah, Gavin and Meg, Ariel, Ronin and William, Emily and Isaac. Dear brother of Arlene and Ken FINKEL, Fred and Rosie DACOSTA, Gus and Jacquie DACOSTA and their families. Visitation will be held at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Sunday from 2: 00-4:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, on Monday, June 16th, 2008 at 10: 00 a.m. Cremation to follow.

Peacefully on February 22, 2008, Motia KARCHEWSKI of Sarnia (formerly of London) in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Anton KARCHEWSKI (1994.) Loving mother of Nadia MAUTI (George) of Cambridge, Vera PARKER of London and George KARCHEWSKI (Cheryl) of Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Paul, Michael, Steven, David, Lisa, Brandon, Kassandra and Sascha. Predeceased by her son Walter. Visitation will be held at Needham Funeral Service (520 Dundas Street, London) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where Panachida will be held at 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church (151 King Edward Ave) on Wednesday February 27th, 2008 at 10 a.m. Fr. Slawomir LOMASZIEWICZ officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.

MURRAY, Stanley Thomas.
On January 22, 2008 in his 91st year at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre Veterans' Wing.
son of the late James and Edith MURRAY. Loving husband of the late Frances (née LOMAX) MURRAY. Father of Linda ROUTLEDGE (Tom,) Stanley J. (Anne) and Robert (Marie DUMONT). Grandfather of Jennifer, Jeffrey and Jamie ROUTLEDGE; Matthew, Andrew and David MURRAY. Great-grandfather of Carter ROUTLEDGE. Also remembered by his brother, Doctor Eric MURRAY, and family.
Stan was the Charter President and Life Member of the Canadian Fire Safety Association; Life Member of the National Fire Protection Association; Member for Life of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers. He was the founding Coordinator, Fire Protection Technology, Seneca College.
During World War 2, Stan served in General Montgomery's 8th Army in the North African, Sicilian, and Italian Campaigns in the Lanark and Renfrew (42nd) Scottish Regiment; then Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment. He was a Sergeant in the Corps of Military Staff Clerks, and served in 2nd Echelon, Canadian Mediterranean Forces Headquarters, A.F.H.Q.
Friends may call on Thursday, January 31 from 6-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street, Toronto. Service to be held on Friday, February 1 at 11 a.m. at Timothy Eaton Memorial Church, 230 St. Clair Avenue West. A reception will be held at the church following the service.

Peacefully at Country Lane Nursing Home in Chatsworth on Saturday, March 29, 2008. Annie OSBORNE (née OTICHEVICH) of Owen Sound in her 87th year. Wife of the late William OSBORNE. Dear mother of John OSBORNE and his wife Peggy of Manson Creek, British Columbia, Jim OSBORNE and his wife Anne SIMKINS of Annan, Carol and her husband Bob YOUNG of Walters Falls, Marie and her husband Bob YATES and Kathy and her husband Jim BROWN all of Owen Sound. Sadly missed by twelve grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Mike SANDERS and her sisters Mary JONES and Kay LOMBARDI all of Toronto. Predeceased by her brother John and her sisters Penny and Betty. LOMBARDO, Jean (née NORTON)
Peacefully at Mount Hope - Saint_Joseph's Hospital, London on Friday, May 16, 2008 Jean LOMBARDO in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Hubert LOMBARDO (2006.) Survived by her sister Shirley (Peggy) FRAUMENI. Loving aunt, great-aunt, great- great-aunt and great-great-great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Gertrude NORTON, her brothers Leslie and Stanley and her sister Elsie THORPE. Jean was a devoted, dedicated teacher for 40 years. First teaching at rural school near Thamesville, in Ballymote, North London and the Thames Valley District School Board at Chelsey Ave. Public School in London. Jean and Hubert loved their cottage and Friends in Orchard Beach, Port Stanley where they spent many summers, and their daily trips to the Covent Garden Market to greet their Friends. The family will receive Friends at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Monday, May 19th, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Service will be held at St. George's Anglican Church, Wharncliffe Rd. North on Tuesday, May 20th, 2008 at 10 o'clock. Interment in Saint Peter's Cemetery.
