McCormick Home who touched Maisie's life, for their care and

Murphy Tobacco in Sarnia for over 30 years. Because of his love
for fishing and the outdoors he spent his retirement years in
Tobermory on Dorcas Bay Rd. He was a veteran of World War 2,
stationed at the Alaskan border. Paul was a member of the Royal
Canadian Legion, Royal Canadian Naval Association, the Point
Edward Ex-Servicemen's Association and the 1st Hussars W.O. and
Sergeant's Mess. At Paul's request there will be no funeral home
visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Matthew
BEDARD at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday
at 2 p.m. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. Arrangements
entrusted to McKenzie and Blundy Funeral Home (519-344-3131). As

Nan was born May 14, 1923. She was the sixth of seven children
to bless the van Nostrand home at 91 Delaware Ave., Toronto.
Her passing was very peacefully on February 21, 2008, under the
gentle care of Humber River Regional Hospital. Nan was a wonderfully
colourful lady and will be dearly missed by many Friends and
family members. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Frances
(Keary) LINDSAY and her partner Richard Hugh

U. John was a keen cottager on the Sunshine Coast, Muskoka and
Heney Lake Quebec. He was an Officer of the Order of Canada and
received honourary degrees. Friends are invited to visit at the

on Thursday, June 19th, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service

She was predeceased by both her sisters Helen
(Penny) JACKSON and Dorothy
PALMQUIST.
Alice had a distinguished
career in Nursing, first as a nurse and teacher of Nursing at
Regina General Hospital, then as a Nursing Sister and sublieutenant
with the Canadian Navy overseas during World War 2. She was stationed
in Greenock, Scotland on the Hospital Ship, HMS Naiobe and
in Cornwallis, Nova Scotia After the war, Alice graduated from
McGill University in 1947 with her degree in nursing (B.N.).
Alice joined the Victorian Order of Nurses and later became Director
of Nursing for Imperial Oil. After marrying in 1950, she semi-retired
and in 1967 took a degree in Public Health from U of T. She became
a Public Health Nurse for the Region of Peel until her official
retirement in 1986. Cremation has occurred. A Service of Remembrance
will be held at 2 p.m. at Lakeshore Lodge, 3197 Lakeshore Blvd
W., Toronto M8V 3X5 (west of Kipling), on Friday March 28th,
phone, 416-233-7398. Visitation with the family to follow. Donations
to Lakeshore Lodge or a Charity of your choice would be appreciated
by the family. The family would also like to thank the staff
of Lakeshore Lodge for their caring, kindness and empathy throughout
Alice's residency.
