At London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital on Wednesday May 21, 2008 Mrs. Eileen May (JAMES) EMERY of London passed away peacefully in her 80th year. Wonderful mother to Stephen EMERY and his wife Cindy of Waterford, Marc EMERY and his wife Jody of Vancouver, Matthew EMERY and his wife Kelly of London and Jacqueline EMERY and her husband Rob IRELAND of Richmond Hill. Dearly loved grandmother of Benjamin, Scott, Bryan and Lauren EMERY and Bryce and Alexandra IRELAND, and great-grandmother of Estella and William EMERY. Predeceased by her dear companion Kenneth LIGHT. A sweet, elegant and gentle soul, she will be missed by many Friends and the staff at Waverley Mansion. Friends will be received by the family from 1: 00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the Christ Church (Anglican), 138 Wellington Street, London (at Hill Street). A memorial service will be conducted at 2: 00 p.m. with Reverend Greg W. SMITH officiating. Peacefully at Avalon Nursing Home, Orangeville, on Thursday, July 24, 2008, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late William Allan LIGHT. Loving mother of Gloria Marie LANTZ and her husband Bob of New Paris, Indiana, Sharon and Dale WEBSTER of Dorchester, Pauline LIGHT of London, Al LIGHT and his wife Mary of Shelburne, Marilyn LIGHT of Port Stanley, John LIGHT and his wife Helen of Charlton. She will be lovingly remembered by 18 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 Saint_James Street at Richmond where the funeral service will be conducted on Monday, July 28 at 10: 30 a.m. Interment St. George's Cemetery, Hyde Park. Passed away peacefully in her 89th year surrounded by her family at Longfields Manor in Nepean. Predeceased by her husband John (1991), brothers Wally, Tom, and sister Margie. Lovingly remembered by her children Mary THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON (Rob), Jim (Susan) and John (Sue), her grandchildren Scott (Shawna), Stephanie (Brent), and Cynthia THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON, Alison LIGHT, Greg, Vincent and Oliver LIGHT. Also survived by her great-granddaughter Gwenyth WIEBE, her brothers John (Shirley) and Dave (Dot) as well as many nieces and nephews. Our thanks to the wonderful caring staff at Longfields Manor. Memorial Service will be held at Southminster United Church, 15 Aylmer Avenue on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at 11: 00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair and McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Ave., Ottawa.

At London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus on Tuesday, March 11, 2008, Sharon Marguerite Elizabeth LIGHTFOOT (née STALEY) (HORTON) of Alvinston in her 63rd year. Devoted wife of Clare (Hank) LIGHTFOOT. Loved by her three daughters, Kim O'NEIL (David) and their three sons, Craig, Scott and Derick all of London, Tonyia ROSE (fiance Michael TOMS) of Sarnia, Sonyia ROSE of London and her two children, Jessica ROSE of London and Christiaan WILLIAMS of Glencoe. Also survived by two step-sons, Ron LIGHTFOOT (Josie) of Sarnia and Jim LIGHTFOOT of Alvinston and three step grandchildren, Nikki and Mike STRICK of Windsor and their three children, Lacy LIGHTFOOT of Sarnia and the late David LIGHTFOOT (2006,) and two brothers and one sister, Leroy STALEY (Elaine) of Woodstock, Dennis STALEY (Mary) of Tillsonburg and Cathy STALEY of Chatham, as well as three nephews and one niece, Sandra (Rick BERNHARDT) Tillsonburg, Scott STALEY (Vivian) of Kitchener, Andrew STALEY (Terra) Chatham, Dennis STALEY Jr., Chatham. Also remembered by several aunts, uncles, cousins, Friends and special friend and former step-mom Muriel SCOTT of Hamilton. Predeceased by her parents, Walter STALEY (1989) and Marguerite (VANATTER) STALEY (1979). Sharon was born and raised in Tillsonburg. She was a tax accountant and worked as a line supervisor at Ford Canada in Talbotville. She loved cats and cared for many strays. In keeping with Sharon's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 14 at 1: 30 p.m. at the Van Heck Visitation Centre, 3232 River Street, Alvinston. (Visitation from 12: 30-1:30) Interment at Alvinston Cemetery. The family of the late Isabel THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON wish to thank Friends, family and neighbours for the help, the food, and the companionship they received during her illness, which enabled us to honour her wishes and bring her home. We would also like to thank Doctor LOW/LOWE/LOUGH, the nursing staff at Collingwood Hospital, C.C.A.C., St. Elizabeth's Healthcare, Hospice Georgian Triangle, especially Elaine LIGHTHEART, R.N. Thank you also for the flowers, donations, cards, food, prayers and support following Mom's passing. Special thank you to Aunt Marg, Mary, Ann, Lois, Joan, Dianne and Mary Lynn for everything you did for us. Thanks to Rob and April FAWCETT and the staff of Fawcett Funeral Home for their support and guidance, to Reverend Donna MANN for her comforting words, and to the Eugenia United Church Ladies for the lovely luncheon following the service. Loved grandpa of Troy and Tasha, and grandpa Don to Amanda and Alex. Survived by his sisters Roberta McGILL (Don) and Betty WEIR, both of Windsor, Ontario, and sister-in-law Rose LIGHTOWLER.
