It is with great sadness that the family of Gabriele DI VIRGILIO announce his passing on Easter Sunday, March 23, 2008, in his 65th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Olga for 42 years. Born in Civitella Casanova, Pescara, Italy. Predeceased by his parents Francesco DI VIRGILIO and Giovina CIRONE. Gabriele will be sadly missed by his siblings Elisa (Vincenzo CIRONE,) Nicoletta (Giuseppe ROSSI) all of Italy, Domenico (Frances) of London, Pierina (Donato BOCELLA) of Switzerland, and Fermina (Imerio CAMARRA) of London. Predeceased by his sisters Maria (Donato DIFAZIO) and Giuseppina DIFAZIO. Cherished brother-in-law of Carmela (Ginaldo LIBERATORE,) Luciana (Antonio MASTROGIUSEPPE) and Giuseppe DIFAZIO. Adored and loved by many nieces, nephews and godchildren. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. The Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Mary's Catholic Church, 345 Lyle Street at York Street on Thursday morning at 11 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum at Saint Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Wednesday evening at 8: 15 p.m. If desired, donations may be made to the London Regional Cancer Program at London Health Sciences Centre.

A resident of Dresden, formerly of R.R.#2 Florence passed away peacefully at the C.K.H.A. Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at the age of 89. Born in Camden Twp., son of the late Cecil and Cora (HOPPER) ROSS. Beloved husband of the late Winnifred (LIBERTY) ROSS (2000.) Loving father of Bonita "Bonnie" and Robert ELLIOT/ELLIOTT of R.R.#2 Florence, Lloyd and Lynn ROSS of New Liskeard, Larry ROSS of Glencoe, Douglas and Bonnie ROSS of Florence. Loving grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by daughter-in-law Sandra ROSS of Bothwell. Dear brother of Helen MURRAY of Chatham. Also survived by sisters-in-law Alma ROSS of Chatham, Winnifred ROSS of R.R.#7 Thamesville, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son Cecil ROSS (2003,) daughter-in-law Gabrielle ROSS (2007,) grandaughter Brea ROSS, sister Rita BLAKELEY, brothers Howard and Lloyd ROSS and brothers-in-law Hazen BLAKELEY and Jack MURRAY. The Ross Family will receive Friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St, Thamesville on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 1: 30 p.m. Interment Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Alzheimer's Society, Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. COLES, Frederic Charles
(February 16, 1944-May 1, 2008)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, mentor, friend, son and brother, Frederic Charles COLES, on Thursday, May 1, 2008 at the age of 64 years after a courageous battle with cancer. Fred spent 36 years as a Petroleum Engineer in the Calgary Oil and Gas Industry significantly contributing to the development of GLJ Petroleum Consultants Ltd. and to the growth of several Junior Oil and Gas Corporations, Trusts, and Capital Corporations through his contributions as a member of their Boards of Directors. Fred has touched many individuals through his endless ability to give of himself, a trait that will be sorely missed by so many. Besides his friend Joyce McKinney, Fred is survived by children, Warren (Nicole LIBOIRON- COLES) and Karin (Stephen KELBA;) his grandchildren, Richard KELBA, Alexander KELBA, Jackson COLES and Rhianna KELBA. Fred is also survived by his mother Marjorie, brother Ron, sister Shirley PENNER and former wife Sharon THOMAS. In 1974, Fred was predeceased by his father, Charles Louis COLES. Over the past eleven years Fred worked tirelessly as the chair and cochair of the Tom Baker Cancer Centre Annual Charity Golf Classic and he would like to thank all of the dedicated staff and doctors at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre for their commitment and devotion. Fred also made significant efforts towards the Save The Family Foundation of Arizona over the past five years. The family would also like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Tom Baker Cancer Centre for their care and compassion over the past eleven years. A Celebration of Fred's Life will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 2: 00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made in Fred's name directly to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre (1331 - 29 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta, T2N 4N2).
