Six-week-old Hamilton boy's death a homicide, police say
By The Canadian Press, Wed., May 14, 2008
Hamilton -- The death of a six-week-old baby boy in Hamilton on Mother's Day has been ruled a homicide.
Police say they got a 911 call from the boy's parents just before midnight Sunday that an infant was in medical distress.
Cohen LEGACY was taken to hospital, but staff there weren't able to save him.
Staff Sgt. Steve HRAB says after an autopsy late Monday, the pathologist ruled the boy's death a homicide.
HRAB says it's too soon to discuss suspects or charges, as the investigation is still in its early stages and police are still doing interviews.
He says some of the couple's other children were in the townhouse when the 911 call was made, but he wouldn't comment on their ages or how many kids there were.

LEGATE, Allan
In loving memory of my husband, Allan; Dad and Grandfather who passed away on February 6, 1995
Though tears in our eyes do not glisten
And our faces are not always sad.
There is never a night or morning
But we think of the joy we all had
Not a day do we forget you
In our hearts you are always here
For we love you and we miss you
As we end another year
Lovingly remembered and always in our thoughts, your wife Dorothy, and Jim, Jack, Edward and Nancy and families
