DUNBAR, Arthur Woodruff
Passed away in his 94th year peacefully at home on Thursday, March 27, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Norine Estelle DUNBAR. Dearly loved by his daughter Vicky and her husband Erik KOUDSTAAL and son Grant and his wife Peggy. Proud grandfather of Mark and Ian KOUDSTAAL and Stewart and Hawley DUNBAR. Will be much missed by sister-in-law Molly RODEN and her children Sue, Charlie, Rod and their families. Predeceased by his brother Ted and warmly remembered by his sister-in-law Ebie DUNBAR and nieces Robin and Pam and their families. The family are very grateful to his loving, loyal caregivers who stayed on with him through the illness and after the death of his adored wife Norine. Thank you to Arlene, Monika, Rose, Jolante, Nichola, Bibi and Glenda. Also thanks to SRT MedStaff, Spectrum Nursing, Community Care Access Centre Etobicoke and Meals on Wheels. At Country Terrace Nursing Home on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 Paraskavas (Peter) KOUMOUTSIDIS of London, in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Betty (SPIGOS) KOUMOUTSIDIS of London. Dear father of Jim KOUMOUTSIDIS of London and predeceased by daughter Vivian. Loving grandfather of Georgia and her father Stavros KONSTANDINIDIS. Dear brother of Chris and his wife Lily KOUMOUTSIDIS of London, John and his wife Rose KOUMOUTSIDIS of Windsor and Takis KOUMOUTSIDIS of Greece. Friends will be received at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street (between Waterloo and Colborne St.) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W. on Saturday, May 31st, 2008 at 10 a.m. with Father Elias DROSSOS officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Suddenly at her home in Owen Sound Monday morning February 25, 2008. Cathy KOURY of Owen Sound in her 61st year. Loving wife of David RAYNER of Wiarton. Loved mother of Norma SLADE and her husband Wayde CRITCH of Owen Sound and Loretta and her husband Doug ZEVENBERGEN of R.R.#1, Shallow Lake. Lovingly remembered by her four grandchildren; Alychia, Katelyn, Kaela and Mariah as well as nanny to many others. Adopted Mom to Susan BELROSE and family of Owen Sound. A private family service will be conducted from the Downs and son Funeral Home Hepworth Friday afternoon at 1: 00 p.m. with cremation to follow. Memorial contributions to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy. SHORT, Robert C.
Passed away on February 29th, 2008, at St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 82. Survived by wife Ruth. Loved father of Douglas SHORT and his wife Patricia, Jane KOUSTAS and her husband Zisimos, David SHORT and his wife Mary Jean. Beloved grandfather of Robert, Heather, Kaitlin, Alexandros, Amy, Paul, and Andeas. A graduate of U.T.S. and the University of Toronto, "Bob" signed on as a Boy Soldier at the age of 17 with the Royal Canadian Artillery. He served overseas in World War 2 in Holland and Germany. He began his post-war career in the electrical equipment industry, advancing to President of Edwards Company. He later served as President of the Canadian Cable Television Association, Vice President of Canada Wire and Cable, and Deputy Chairman of CUC Broadcasting. One of his proudest career achievements was, as its founding President in 1967, overseeing the growth of St. Lawrence College from a concept, to three campuses. He continued to work well past normal retirement age as a consultant in the telecommunications field. He will be fondly remembered by Friends and relatives as the consummate host and raconteur, and by his many business associates as a leader of great integrity, ethics, and vision. Friends may pay their respects at Hulse and English Funeral Home and Chapel, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines on Monday March 3rd from 1: 00 to 2:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 2: 00 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

KOUTSARIS, George (1914-2008)
Predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Pota, and his son-in-law George POLETES. Survived by his six children, Toula POLETES, Jenny (Don SAUNDERS), Lloyd (Ann), Angie (Peter TRAIFOROS), Terry (Dianne,) and Joanne (David THRING.) Also survived by his 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Papou will be remembered for the love for his family, his strong work ethic, his passion for his native homeland and especially his olive farm in Sparta. Prior to his illness, he was planning yet another trip to Greece. Visitation Tuesday, January 29 from 5-9 p.m., at Heritage Funeral Home, 50 Overlea Boulevard. Funeral services Wednesday, January 30 at 11: 30 a.m., St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 30 Thorncliffe Park Drive. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

PARKER, Dana
Passed away unexpectedly in Costa Rica on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at the age of 24. Cherished son of Lindsay and Jacquelyn. Brother and best friend of Morgan. Adored grand_son of Frank and Norma HOOPER of Bowmanville, Ontario; and Vera PARKER of Driffeld, England. Sadly missed by Jessica STAFFORD, with whom he shared a loving relationship. He will be deeply missed by his best friend George KOUTSARIS. He will be forever remembered by his extended family and Friends.
