March 27, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Norine Estelle

loving, loyal caregivers who stayed on with him through the illness
and after the death of his adored wife Norine. Thank you to Arlene,

to SRT MedStaff, Spectrum Nursing, Community Care Access
Centre Etobicoke and Meals on Wheels. In memory of Arthur, donations

Hospital at the age of 82. Survived by wife Ruth. Loved father

Beloved
grandfather of Robert, Heather, Kaitlin, Alexandros, Amy, Paul,
and Andeas. A graduate of U.T.S. and the University of Toronto,
"Bob" signed on as a Boy Soldier at the age of 17 with the Royal
Canadian Artillery. He served overseas in World War 2 in Holland
and Germany. He began his post-war career in the electrical equipment
industry, advancing to President of Edwards Company. He later
served as President of the Canadian Cable Television Association,
Vice President of Canada Wire and Cable, and Deputy Chairman
of CUC Broadcasting. One of his proudest career achievements
was, as its founding President in 1967, overseeing the growth
of St. Lawrence College from a concept, to three campuses. He
continued to work well past normal retirement age as a consultant
in the telecommunications field. He will be fondly remembered
by Friends and relatives as the consummate host and raconteur,
and by his many business associates as a leader of great integrity,
ethics, and vision. Friends may pay their respects at Hulse and
English Funeral Home and Chapel, 75 Church Street, St. Catharines
on Monday March 3rd from 1: 00 to 2:00 p.m. The Funeral Service
will be held in the Chapel at 2: 00 p.m. If desired, memorial

and 12 great-grandchildren. Papou will be remembered for the
love for his family, his strong work ethic, his passion for his
native homeland and especially his olive farm in Sparta. Prior
to his illness, he was planning yet another trip to Greece. Visitation
Tuesday, January 29 from 5-9 p.m., at Heritage Funeral Home,
50 Overlea Boulevard. Funeral services Wednesday, January 30
at 11: 30 a.m., St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 30 Thorncliffe
Park Drive. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke
Foundation.
