At Chelsey Park Nursing Home, on Friday, April 11, 2008, Audrey FRITH of London, in her 88th year. Cherished wife and best friend of Abiel "Abe" FRITH. Loving mother of Judith PICKERING (Leonard) of London, Dianne KNUDSEN (John) of Brookings, Oregon, and Barbara WEEKS (Ken) of Elora. Dear grandmother to Tom PICKERING (Ann DEARING) of London, Dawn PICKERING (Hussein ZABIAN) of Komoka, Victoria PICKERING (Billy LABADIE) of Chatham, Michelle OLIVER of San Jose, California, Jan BOND (David) of Brookings, Oregon, Jason WEEKS (Ann) of Fergus, and Kim TRACEY (Kirk) of Windsor great-grandmother to Maya ZABIAN, Hanna CHLOE, Madylin and Aiden WEEKS, Chelsea, Megan and Daniel PICKERING, Matthew HOYLAND, Aryauna and Hannah BOND, and Matthew, Aubrey, Avery, Silas and Deslyn; great great-grandmother of Ethan, of Windsor; and friend of Cathy PICKERING of London. Predeceased by her parents Alma (1945) and Robert (1972) CHENEY, brother Bob CHENEY (1997,) and infant son Robert Thomas (1941). Visitation will be held on Monday from 2: 00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 3: 00 p.m. Cremation and interment of ashes, Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Audrey are asked to consider the Battered Women's Advocacy Centre or the Sunshine Dreams For Kids. BRIDEKIRK, Bill
At the C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater Health, Petrolia on Tuesday, May 27, 2008. Bill BRIDEKIRK, 87 years, of Petrolia. Bill was predeceased by his wife Ethel (née (ROBINSON1994)) and a son Gary (1978). He will be missed by his daughters Marie and Morley SCOTT of Petrolia, Dorothy and Cliff BRADLEY of Sarnia, and Sandra BRIDEKIRK of Sarnia. Bill was a loving grandfather to eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and twelve great great-grandchildren. Bill was the son of the late George and Irene (AYRHEART) BRIDEKIRK. Dear brother of Donelda and Leo MacKESY of Lakeview, Ohio, Dorothy and the late Stew KNUDSEN of Petrolia, the late Angus BRIDEKIRK (1946,) and the late Ken BRIDEKIRK (1992.) Bill will also be missed by his daughter-in-law Hazel MacKO of Dresden, a loyal friend Lenny and Barb SALISBURY, and many nieces and nephews. Bill was a member of the Laborers Union Local 1089 and was an avid hunter and trapper. Visitors will be received on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, Petrolia where a funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30, 2008 at 11: 00 a.m. Rev. Brian HORROBIN officiating. Interment in Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the C.E.E. The family of the late Audrey FIRTH, much loved Wife, Mother, Gramma and Nanny, wish to express their heartfelt appreciation to Family, Friends, Sweet Adelines and Kiwanians, for the flowers, condolences, memorial donations, phone calls, cards, visits and caring thoughts at the time of our bereavement. No words can express our gratitude to see how many lives she truly touched. Thank You to the wonderful Staff at Westview Chapel for their kindness, guidance, patience and special care shown to our Family and for the lovely reception following the service. Thank You to Doctor LO and the caring Staff on 3rd floor, Chelsey Park Long Term Care Facility. Your love and care of Mom was always evident. Special thanks to Rev. GRIFFITH, Anne
Passed away on July 23, 2008. She will rest in peace alongside her late husband, Bobby GRIFFITH, and will be missed by everyone who knew her. Her warm, sunny smile, kind, generous and compassionate nature, and ever-present sense of humour will be remembered fondly by all, including her beloved daughters Rebecca and Pam, her sister Mary KNULL and her brother Wally TKACHYK and their families, as well as her Friends, neighbours and ex-colleagues from Extendicare Scarborough. All are cordially invited to join us in celebrating her life on Saturday, July 26 at the Giffen-Mack Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E.
