CLARKE, Joan (née MASON)
After a full and wonderful life, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2008 in her 87th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband George. Loving mother to Ted and his wife Shirley. Dear sister of Ted and his wife Glenys MASON, Jack MASON and the late Connie COX. Joan will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews; Betty (Bill) TOMLINSON, Bill (Margaret) KEW, Raymond (Ellen) COX, Leigh (Oscar) STRUGSTAD, Keith (Louise) MASON and their families. Joan was an accomplished film editor, world's best mom, fantastic wife and good friend and her zany zest for life will be remembered by all who knew her. Friends may call at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Avenue) Weston, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Service will be held in the Ward Chapel on Tuesday at 12 noon. KEWELL, Herbert Maxwell
Peacefully on Saturday June 7, 2008. Herbert Maxwell KEWELL aged 87 years of Corunna. Beloved husband of 62 years to Jessie (HAYES.) Loving father of the late Brenda (Doug) MacCHEYNE of Bomanville, Gaye (Mel) MELLEMA of Sarnia and Bonnie Ann (David) ATTERBURY of Corunna. Grandfather of Richard MacCHEYNE, Cheryl Ann WIJDEVEN, Heather FREEMANTLE, Robert MacCHEYNE, James COOPER, Gregory COOPER, Janice ATTERBURY, Jillian ATTERBURY and Marc ATTERBURY. Great-grandfather of Sarah COOPER, Jessica WHEELOCK and Jade WHEELOCK, Brianna MacCHEYNE, Rylan MacCHEYNE, Lily ATTERBURY and James McILWAINE. Also survived by sisters and brothers, Marg DUNN of Toronto, Chuck KEWELL of Havelock, Jim KEWELL and June of Beaverton, Richard KEWELL and Patricia of Etobicoke. Also survived by sister-in-law Pansy and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents John and Rose KEWELL, his sister Ann JONDREAU and brother George. Herb was born on December 30, 1920 in Vaughn Township, in the County of York. He was a 60 plus year member of Christ Anglican Church Corunna, a Veteran of World War II serving Regiment B3468, Past President and 50 year member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #447-Corunna, Life Member of Moore Lodge #294 Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons, Past Noble Grand of Valentine Lodge #305- Mooretown, member of Mayflower Rebekah Lodge #234-Mooretown, member LEA #26-Sarnia, member of Huron Oaks Golf Club and a retiree of Polysar. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Tuesday June 10, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 11: 00 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Anglican Church Corunna. Interment will follow in Sutherland Cemetery, Courtright. As expressions of sympathy Friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or to the Canadian Diabetes Association. KEWIN, Douglas John
In loving memory of Douglas John KEWIN, January 14, 1962 to May 24, 2008. Taken too quickly, he will be missed by his loving mother, Maxine KEWIN, and his adoring sisters, Corinne, Jane, Susan and Nancy, brothers-in-law Greg, Doug and Brian, as well as his nephews Malcolm, Sam, Kevin and Daryn, and his step-daughter Samantha.
