VANDEWETERING, Hendrikus " Harry"
Peacefully and with great courage, surrounded by his dear family at Chelsey Park Nursing Home, London on April 7th, 2008, Hendrikus (Harry) VANDEWETERING of Delaware in his 73rd year. Beloved and devoted husband of Tina (née VANDYK) for 49 years. Loving father of Richard (Anne,) Joanie (Barry) McKEON and Len (Carol Lyn.) Dear Opa to Michael, Christine, Caitlin, Andrea and Vanessa, all of London. Survived by siblings Karel (Rita), Wilma (Harry), Irma (Ollie), John (Rieky), Jerry (Joanne) and Toni. Predeceased by infant son Richard Anton, parents Antonius and Cornelia (nee KEUNEN) VANDEWETERING and brothers Pete and Ted. Harry will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews, and he will be remembered by many Friends. Friends and relatives may call at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home, Mount Brydges on Thursday, April 10th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with a Lions Service at 6 p.m. and prayers at 6: 30 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Delaware on Friday at 11 a.m. Rev. Fr. Francis MURPHY officiating. Interment of ashes Sacred Heart Cemetery (Thomas St.), Mount Brydges. The family extends their thanks to all the nursing staff at Chelsey Park Nursing home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Parkinson Society Canada.

McFADDEN, Gerald Wilbert
At London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus on Tuesday, February 26th, 2008. Gerald Wilbert McFADDEN of Rodney in his 88th year. Predeceased by his wife Annie née HAGERTY (2000.) Lovingly remembered by his wife Pauline McFADDEN (JONGENEELEN.) Step father to Gerry (Linda), Lillian (John), Katherine and Robert (Shelley). Dear brother of Gord (Frances), Ernie (Barb) all of Rodney, Hugh (Joyce) of West Lorne and Betty KEUTCH (Bill) of Rodney. Also survived by his sister-in-law Dorothy McFADDEN of Melbourne and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Otto (74) and Charlotte (93), brothers Glen, Kenneth, Eugene, infant Lloyd and sister Mildred BROWN. Gerry served in the Canadian Forces during World War 2, he was a carpenter and a jack of all trades. Friends may call at the Rodney Chapel on Thursday, February 28th, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted from the chapel on Friday at 1 p.m. Rev. James WHITE/WHYTE officiating. Interment Rodney cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or Calvary United Church would be appreciated as your expression of sympathy.
