McRITCHIE, Hazel
Passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 31, 2008 with family at her side at the age of 90. Wife of the late Donald McRITCHIE. Cherished by her children Barbara (Daniel HRENYK,) Mary Beth (Ian MacDONALD) and Donna McRITCHIE (Shaf KESHAVJEE.) Survived by her grandchildren Melody, James, Ashley, Alissa and Sara and great-grandchild Jessica. Friends will be received at Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Road, on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 from 2-3 p.m. Funeral Service will take place in the chapel beginning at 3 p.m. Hazel's final resting place will be Resthaven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to North York General Hospital Breast Diagnostic Centre.

Was called to be with her Lord while peacefully surrounded by her family at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 11, 2008, Johanna VAN BILSEN, of Chatham, beloved wife of 53 years to William VAN BILSEN. Born in Holland on June 29, 1930, Johanna came to Canada in 1949 and was the daughter of the late Maria (HUYBERS) and Anthony VAN KESSEL. She will be greatly missed by: her loving children, James and his wife Susan of Elora, Edward and his wife Sherry of Brights Grove, Wendy DUFFY and husband Paul and Stephanie MYERS and husband John all of Toronto, dearest grandchildren Jonathan, Amanda, Johanna, Brandon, Nicholas, Carson, William and Monika and great-granddaughter Tessa, 3 sisters Helen BURGESS of Collingwood, Maria CHAPO of Essex and Terry TRAHAN of Rockwood and a brother Anthony VAN KESSEL of Chatham. She is predeceased by brothers Lawrence and John VAN KESSEL. Johanna was a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Branch 28 Legion, a volunteer at Saint_Joseph's Hospital and extremely talented chef and cake decorator for many years. Her generosity, loving ways and beautiful smile will always be remembered. Friends and relatives may visit at the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, where Parish Prayers will be offered 7: 00 p.m. on Tuesday.

With heartfelt sadness, we announce the passing of Mom into God's loving arms at Extendicare London, Thursday morning, May 29, 2008, Mathilda "Tillie" (KESTER) VANLEEUWEN, of R.R.#2, Grand Bend, age 76. Beloved wife of the late Gerardus "Jerry" VANLEEUWEN (2006.) Loving mother of Nick VANLEEUWEN and his wife Karen of Cary, North Carolina, Mathilde VANLEEUWEN of Calgary, Ellen ROBINSON and her husband Wes of London, Adrian VANLEEUWEN and his wife Viktoria of Toronto, John VANLEEUWEN and his wife Charlene of Hunter River, Prince Edward Island. Loving Oma of Andrew, Brian, David, Jacqueline, Wes, Greg, Bryanna, Jason, Katie, Pieter and Julie. She will also be sadly missed by her sisters, brothers, in-laws, nieces and nephews and the VANLEEUWEN families in Canada, Holland, Australia and the Philippines. Tillie immigrated from Holland in 1955 to the Grand Bend area and with Jerry made a living in market gardening and their flower nursery. She was a long time member of the Catholic Women's League, and more recently active with the Grand Bend Golden Age Club. She enjoyed spending time and conversation with her many Friends, and also enjoyed a fun game of cards too. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman and Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Friday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Parish and family prayers at the funeral home, Friday at 1: 45 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Grand Bend, Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 10: 00 a.m. The Rev. CHARRON, David Albert
Born February 14, 1948, David Albert CHARRON, passed away on June 17, 2008 at Bluewater Health, Sarnia, Ontario, with his wife by his side. Sadly missed by his wife of 41 years Brenda (PETERS,) formerly of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Loving father of son Michael (Nancy) and daughter Dena (Eric) PARSONS, all of Sarnia. David leaves behind five broken hearts, his grandchildren who brought him so much joy: Kevin, Keenan, Madison, Nicolas and Makayla. David was born in Windsor, Ontario and was the son of Bert and the late Lillian (KESTLE) CHARRON and son-in-law to the late George and Lena PETERS of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Survived by one brother James Wright (Jane) of Windsor, by sisters Linda (Michele-Anne) of Toronto, Julie (Robert) KINDSVATER of Florida, Susan (Tom) WARD of Dorchester, Bonnie (Lance) DUROCHER of Belle River, Jenny (Chuck) GAVIN of Kitchener, and by brothers-in-law Jimmie (Marjorie) PETERS of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia and Leonard PETERS of Edmonton, Alberta. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. As per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
