Walter Lloyd HARASYM " Wally"
Peacefully at the Manitoulin Health Centre on Tuesday December 25, 2007 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Kathleen. Cherished father of Ann (predeceased) and Sarah HARASYM. Predeceased by both brothers Mike KAVALCHUK and Morris HARASYM (wife Marilyn of Manitowaning.) Will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service was held at 2: 00 pm Thursday, December 27, 2007 at Knox United Church, Manitowaning, Ontario. Burial will be in the spring at Hilly Grove Cemetery. Island Funeral Home.

KAVANAGH, Margaret " Peggy"
Peacefully at Babcock Community Care Centre, on Wednesday, June 11, 2008, Margaret "Peggy" KAVANAGH of Glencoe, in her 74th year. She will be sadly missed by her dear friend Gerry ATKINSON. Loving mother of Heather KAVANAGH and her husband Bob O'BRIEN of Chatham, Kathleen KAVANAGH and her husband Don LUNN of Alvinston and Kevin KAVANAGH and his wife Sandy of Manning, Alberta. Peggy was a special Grandma to Maxine HOUNSELL of New Jersey, Melissa HOUNSELL and her husband Richard BEGIN of Glencoe, Kacie and Zach LUNN of Alvinston, Dustin and his wife Amanda KAVANAGH of Lloyd Minister, Alberta and Shawn and Cody KAVANAGH of Manning, Alberta. Peg was blessed with three Great-grandchildren; Presley and Riley KAVANAGH of Lloyd Minister, Alberta and Niya BEGIN of Glencoe. Relatives and Friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th at 1: 00 p.m. Fr. Frank MURPHY to officiate. Interment will take place at Oakland Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to Four Counties Health Services or Babcock Community Care Centre.

HECKMAN, Jennie May (née MITCHELL) (1918-2007)
Passed away peacefully Friday, December 28, 2007 in Oakville, Ontario with her family by her side. She is survived by her three children Eleanor BALL (John,) Tom, and Beth KAVANAGH (John) and by her six grandchildren: J.J., Michael, Jennifer, Katie, Andrew and Kyle, and many nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her loving husband T. Clarke HECKMAN (1985,) to whom she was a constant loyal and supportive partner in his successful career with the Royal Bank; a career which took them throughout eastern Canada, the West Indies (Port of Spain, Trinidad), Toronto, head office in Montreal, and eventually retirement in Bermuda, gathering wide circles of Friends wherever they lived. An aura of gentleness, kindness and grace is her lasting legacy. A service to celebrate Jennie's life will be held at 2: 00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Saint_John's United Church, 262 Randall Street, Oakville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Oakville Hospital Foundation. Condolences and memories may be sent to jennie.heckman@wardfh.com

STOBBS, Fred Aynsley
Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital on February 23, 2008. Fred Aynsley STOBBS in his 90th year. Beloved husband of 60 years of Muriel STOBBS (née WOODGER.) Devoted and loving father of Garth and his wife Nora WILSON of London, Lorne and his partner Suzanne KAVANAUGH of St. Catharines. Fred was a kind, loving, generous husband and father and will be sadly missed by his family and Friends. For forty years Fred worked in the architectural field in Toronto where he made many Friends before retiring in London. Fred was a past member of the Middlesex Kiwanis Club. A memorial service will be held in the spring. Private interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Toronto. Memorial donations to the Men's Mission, 459 York Street, London would be appreciated.
