Centre, Grand Bend Area Community Health Foundation or a charity
of choice would be appreciated. Nola was a lifetime member of
the Dashwood and Area Medical Centre, serving as secretary for
many years, past organist of Saint_Johns By-The-Lake Anglican Church

In loving memory of Margaret Isabel Galbraith June 29, 1927 - May 7,
2008. Margaret Galbraith, a resident of Kagawong, died at the Mindemoya
Hospital on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at the age of 80 years. She was born
in Carnarvon Township, daughter of the late George and Mary ( Thomson)
Wyman.
Margaret had worked as a food manager at
MSS for 15 years before
retiring. She had been a member of the Eastern Star since 1972, serving
as organist, in Gore Bay, then Little Current after the amalgamation, Ada
and as Worthy Matron for 2 terms. Margaret enjoyed music, both singing
and playing, reading, cooking and her flower garden. Her greatest love
was her family and spending time with them. She will be sadly missed, but
many memories will be cherished. Dearly loved wife of Bruce Galbraith.
Loving and loved mother of Anita of Toronto and Herb and his wife
Margaret also of Toronto. Special sister of Marjorie (Wilson) Volpel of
Peterborough. Also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased
by sister Marion and brothers Lloyd and Don Wyman. Visitation was held at
the Culgin Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral
service was conducted in the Wm. G. Turner Chapel on Saturday, May 10,
2008 at 11.00 am with Reverend Mary Jo Eckert Tracy officiating. Cremation to
follow. If so desired, donations to the Diabetic Association, the Heart and
Stroke Foundation or Leprosy Relief Canada would be appreciated. Spanish
River Chapter O.E.S. #237 held a memorial service at the Funeral Home,
Friday at 6.45 p.m. Culgin Funeral Home 282-2270.

ISARD. Jean was a graduate
of the McMaster University "Class of 47". She earned a "M" and
became a letterman in her freshmen year in recognition of her
proven athletics. She held singles and doubles tennis championships
for each of her 4 years at McMaster, and was Captain of the University
basketball team. She participated and performed numerous times
in a synchronized swimming group, the "Doll-Fins", in Naples,
Florida; their most noteworthy performance was featured on the
NBC Network program "Real People". She divided her life and
love for her dear Friends between her home in London, Ontario
and Naples, Florida. More recently, Delta, British Columbia and
Naples, Florida. She took great pride in her work as a cruise
coordinator and organized many cruises through out the Caribbean
and elsewhere. A service will be held 2: 00 p.m. Sunday, April 6th
at the Delta Funeral Home, 5329 Ladner Trunk Road, in Ladner,
officiated by Hugh
MacDONALD, followed by a reception and celebration
of her life. (Arrangements by the Delta Funeral Home 604-946-6040).
