SAUNDERS, Howard Wilbert
Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Wednesday, April 16, 2008. Howard Wilbert SAUNDERS of Strathroy in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Marilyn (HYATT) SAUNDERS. Dear father of Terry SAUNDERS, Mark (Jean) SAUNDERS, Cindy (Steve) POLLARD and Wendy (Geoffery) SHIELDS. Loving grandfather of Mayna, Jordan, Jeffery, Jason, Jeremy, Geoffrey and Daniel and great-grandfather of Lilly and Adrian. Also survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Predeceased by his sons Wilbert and Jeffrey, granddaughter Carole SHIELDS and 7 brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Friday, April 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Charles SEED officiating. Interment to follow in Hillsdale Cemetery, Petrolia. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Strathroy Hospital Foundation Connecticut Scanner Fund would be appreciated. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Howard.

HYATT, John " Jack" Frederick
At Woodstock General Hospital on Monday, April 21, 2008, John "Jack" Frederick HYATT of Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock, in his 90th year. Beloved uncle of Marion MARSHALL and her late husband David of Saint Thomas, Don CASWELL of London, Nancy CAPERN and her late husband Dave of Ingersoll and great uncle of Mary MARSHALL of Woodstock, Margaret PHILLIPS and her husband Ray of Saint Thomas, Sherri NAIRN and her husband Doug of Thamesford, and Darryl CAPERN and his wife Lenore of Ingersoll. Also survived by many other nieces and nephews as well as many great and great great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Frederick and Lilly HYATT and by one brother and six sisters. During the Second World War, Jack was stationed in Woodstock and served in the Rank of Corporal. Jack retired after 21 years with Allen Bradley in Galt. Jack was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion in Waterloo. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, (519-539-0004), on Friday, April 25, 2008 after 10: 00 a.m. where the memorial service will be held in the chapel at 11: 00 a.m. with Rev. Don MOORE officiating. Interment later in the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Contributions to the Woodstock General Hospital or a charity of your choice would be appreciated. At the Dearness Home, London, on Wednesday, April 23, 2008. Betty I. (HYATT) HAY of London in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon R. HAY. Dear mother of Donna VERBERNE and her husband Steven of London and Jerry HAY and his wife Lois of Barrie. Predeceased by her daughter Joan PARK and her son Bob HAY. Dear sister of Marg BLINKHORN and her husband Bill. Predeceased by her brothers Wesley, Leonard, Bob and Tom Hyatt and her sisters, Lillian BOWERING, Ruth DUNCAN and Gladys "Duff" OGGLESBY. Also loved by her grandchildren, Stephen and Jody, Brent, Brian and Teresa, Jody and Terry, Robin and Darren, Carrie and Stephen, Lesley and Karen and John, her great-grandchildren, Nathan, Caleb, Aiden, Theo, Joshua, Robert, Julie and Rachael, her son-in-law Allan PARK and many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, at the A.
