NUNN, Doris May
Of Owen Sound, formerly of Ferndale and Cambridge, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2008 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late John Stanley (Jack) NUNN (1998.) Cherished mother of Margaret (David) McCALLUM of Miller Lake, Donna (Jim) BEVAN of Cambridge, John NUNN (Lynn HOPPS) of Waterloo and Betty UMBACH (Jack HUTTON) of Wiarton. She will be sadly missed by 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, brothers Gerald (Margaret) HAMILTON of Winnipeg and Larry (Janet) HAMILTON of Cambridge and sister Dorothy (Paul) HOCH of Kincardine. Doris was predeceased by her parents Dorothy (WALLER) and Russell HAMILTON, 2 brothers and 1 sister. A graveside service will be held at Eastnor Cemetery spring 2008. Details will be posted when available. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the George Funeral Home, Wiarton. Donations made to the Wiarton Hospital or Lion's head Hospital would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy. 67 died suddenly at his farm on April 16, 2008. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years Liselotte HAGENDORF, his daughter Carolyn M. HAIR of Lillington, North Carolina, U.S.A. and sister-in-law, Gudrun HOCHMUTH of Munich, Germany. He is also survived by 2 sisters and 2 brothers in Germany, a granddaughter Sean WRENCH, husband Donald and three great-grandchildren: Andrew, Leah and Gregory of Lillington, North Carolina, U.S.A. Private funeral services and cremation was handled by Dods and McNair Funeral Home, Orangeville, Ontario, interment will be in the family plot in Lillington, North Carolina, U.S.A. A tree has been planted in his memory in the Dods and McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. A memorial forest dedication service will be held at 2: 30 p.m. on Sunday September 14, 2008 at the Memorial Forest Site.

2008 who died peacefully at the Manitoulin Health Centre on Monday,
February 11, 2008 at the age of 86. Predeceased by her beloved husband
Lloyd Hocken on July 18, 1970. Cherished mother of Lloyd, Elaine and
husband Wally Moore and Allan, all of Little Current. Special grandmother
of Andrew (wife Heather), Jason (wife Jennifer), Terri (fiancé Lester
Dawe). Proud great grandmother of Lacey. Loved sister of Lawrence Faraway
(predeceased), Raymond and wife Doreen Faraway of Grays Essex, England and
Josephine Beech of England. Dear sister-in-law of Melvin Hocken
(predeceased), Bernice and Stan Beech (both predeceased), Helen and Ron
McNeil (both predeceased), Bob (predeceased) and Billie Hocken, Ralph
(predeceased) and Blossom Hocken, Ken and Dora Hocken. Visitation was 2 - 4 and
7 - 9 pm Wednesday at Island Funeral Home. Funeral Service was at 2 pm,
Thursday, February 14, 2008 at Little Current United Church. Reverend Faye
Stevens officiating. Burial at Mountainview Cemetery in the spring.

Peacefully on Friday May 30, 2008, surrounded by her family, Dorothy Ida BIGGS born December 18, 1920 in London, Ontario. Beloved wife of the late Jack BIGGS (2004.) Loving mother of Doug BIGGS (Trish), Jacqueline BIGGS, and Ric BIGGS (Mary). Dear grandmother of Megan HOCKEY (Dax,) Courtney BIGGS (Christian,) Danny BIGGS (Carol,) Toby BIGGS, Jeffrey BIGGS (Erin,) and Nicki BIGGS. Great-grandmother of Joshua, Kaitlyn, and Jordan. During her 3½ years at Rosewood Manor, Dorothy's door was always open for others to come and share a cup of coffee and a smile. Cremation has taken place. The interment of ashes will be at Clipperton Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bluewater Health Palliative Care Unit or the Sarnia Humane Society. Peacefully with her family at her side on Sunday, February 17th, 2008 at Strathroy Middlesex Hospital, Eva B. HOLLOWAY of Kerwood formerly of Perkinsfield in her 86th year. Predeceased by her husband Frank HOLLOWAY (1984.) Dear mother of Gord ROBBINS of Perkinsfield, Lois HOCKIN of London and Sheryl DAVIDSON of Kerwood. Also survived by her sister-in-law Gladys STRONGMAN of Orillia. Will be greatly missed by her two grandchildren, Carrie SHARPE of London and Kenny HOCKIN of Nepean, also two great-grandchildren Chantelle and Ethan of London. Eva will be greatly missed by Carolyn MAURICE and her children of Perkinsfield. Cremation has taken place with interment in the spring at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The family would like to thank all her Caregivers and the support received of the last years of Mom's life. Devoted grandmother of T.J., James, Megan and Shannon. Dear sister of Heather HOCKIN, and sister-in-law of David, Brian, Penny and Pat. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews and the cherished times at Lake of Bays. Gladys was a competitive curler and not-so-competitive golfer and will be missed by her good Friends at Bayview Country Club and The Ladies' Golf Club. Friends may call on Sunday, January 6, 2008 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). The family of the late Mary Jane OLIVER, wish to thank all the folks who came to pay their respects to our Mom at her funeral on June 30th, 2008. Thank you to Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens for their help with final arrangements, to the many Friends and family members who travelled from out of town to be with us. Thank you too for the many cards of condolence, flowers, the Mass Cards. Special Thanks go out to Rev. Ken THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON, Frank CLARKE, and Heather PIGOT for their kind and loving words of remembrance.
