HOBBS.
Not how did he die, but how did he live?
Not what did he gain, but what did he give?
These are the units to measure the worth
Of a man as a man, regardless of birth
Not, what was his church, nor what was his creed
But had he befriended those really in need?
Was he ever ready, with word of good cheer,
To bring back a smile, to banish a tear?
Not what did the sketch in the newspaper say
But how many were sorry when he passed away.
Forever loved and missed by Caryn, Shayne, Taylor and Cassie.

his grand_son Alexander, Andrea (Ryan), plus five siblings, Dorothy

He also made significant contributions with his volunteer work

He was the anchor for our large family. We all loved him deeply
and our lives were enriched by his enthusiastic and positive
attitude. He was a people magnet and always ready to help or
share his sense of humour. He offered his Friendship generously
and with no boundaries. He will be sadly missed by his wide circle
of Friends. He was president of the Tsawwassen Men's Golf Club,
past president and Board member of the Delta Museum and involved
with 'Toobs', where he volunteered his time for community service.
We would like to thank Doctor Sharon Salloum for the wonderful compassionate
care she gave Bob throughout his courageous battle with cancer.

for the outstanding care and support they gave to Bob and our
family. A Celebration of Life for Bob will take place Saturday,
