JONES, Helen (née PERRY)
Passed away at her residence, the Valleyview Home, Saint Thomas on Sunday, March 16, 2008, in her 92nd year. Wife of the late Roy JONES. Mother of Glen PERRY of Saint Thomas, and grandmother of Harold PERRY (Terry GURNETT,) and Cheryl STEINMAN (Doug,) all of London. Great-grandmother of Kristin, Ashley, Kyli and Stephanie. Also survived by sisters-in-law, Ollie PERRY and Sally PERRY, both of Saint Thomas, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her own immediate family, having been predeceased by four brothers, Jim PERRY, Donald PERRY, Reg PERRY, and Gordon DRAPER. Born in Yarmouth Twp., Ontario, September 20, 1916, Helen lived the greater part of her life in Saint Thomas and area. She was the daughter of the late Albert PERRY and the late Annie (DRAPER) Perry McLAY. The funeral and committal service will be held at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington Street, Saint Thomas on Wednesday at 1: 30 p.m. Friends and relatives will be received by the family one hour prior. Private interment will be made in McArthur Cemetery, Southwold Twp. at a later date.

Peacefully, with her children at her side, on January 21, 2008, at Copernicus Lodge, Toronto, in her 90th year. Born in Warszawa, Poland. Predeceased by her beloved husband Roman, her dearest brother Jurek ANSZPERGER and her beloved parents Zofia and Wiktor ANSZPERGER. Cherished mother of Irena and her husband Richard BOUGHNER, Wanda NOWAKOWSKA and her husband Christopher ADAMSON, and Mark NOWAKOWSKI and his wife Barbara. Much loved Babcia of André NOWAKOWSKI and Katherine GURNEY, Julia BOUGHNER and Nick JONES, Danielle NOWAKOWSKI and Alec CRAWFORD, Alex NOWAKOWSKI, Madeleine ADAMSON, and great-grandmother of Scarlett. Fondly remembered by family and Friends in Canada, Poland, England and United States. The family is grateful to the staff at Copernicus Lodge for their tender and compassionate care. Heartfelt thanks to the angels of Fourth Floor South and to Doctor KLODAS. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Copernicus Lodge. At Saint Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Neeltje (Nel) WEVERINK of Aylmer in her 86th year. Beloved wife of Martin WEVERINK. Dear mother of Theresa VAN GURP and husband Neil of Aylmer, Henry WEVERINK and wife Louise of Aylmer, Len WEVERINK and wife Jane of Aylmer, Marian WEESJES and husband Henry of Saint Thomas, Judi HANENBURG and husband Jeff of Woodstock, and Victor WEVERINK and wife Ena of Aylmer. Loved by 24 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. Sister of Margaret GROOT and husband Jack of Aylmer, Joe TENSEN and wife Judy, and Henk TENSEN and wife Grietje in the Netherlands. Sister-in-law of Tine TENSEN of Aylmer. Predeceased by a brother Jake TENSEN (1985) a sister Wilma DEKKER (2004) and four brothers and three sisters in the Netherlands. Born in Andyk, The Netherlands on June 13, 1923 daughter of the late Hendrick and Maartje (TINKELENBERG) TENSEN. Mrs WEVERINK came to Canada in 1951, settled in Cornwall and moved to Aylmer in 1954. She was a member of the Aylmer Christian Reformed Church. Friends may call at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9. pm. Of Listowel, passed away peacefully at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Tuesday May 20, 2008. She was formerly of Atwood and was born 91 years ago in Usborne Township, a daughter of the late William and Ida (PASSMORE) JOHNS. Margaret was a member of Atwood United Church and Atwood United Church Women. Beloved wife of the late Fred LONG who predeceased her in 1979. Loving mother of Marion and Lloyd KNOBLAUCH of Listowel, Bill and Ruth of R.R.#1 Atwood, David and Frances of Atwood, Joyce McCOURT and fiance Jim SPENCE of Goderich, Murray and Elizabeth of R.R.#1 Elmwood, Don and Wanda of R.R.#2 Atwood, Susan and Bob MARTIN of R.R.#4 Listowel, Carol and Kevin GURR of London. After a lengthy career in teaching Jean will be missed by family, Friends, former colleagues and students.
