DRAMNITZKE, Wilhelm " William, Bill"
Bill was born 99 years ago on October 27, 1908 in Winnipeg and died peacefully at The Westmount on David Bergey Drive on April 28, 2008. His gentle nature and charming smile will be greatly missed by his loving family: son Terrance (Terry) and wife Jean DRAMNITZKE of Kitchener; daughter Karen and husband Gerry GOEBEL of Waterloo daughter-in-law Lois DRAMNITZKE of Wilkesport; sister Edith POETKER of Winnipeg; sisters-in-law Olga DRAMNITZKI of Yorkton, Emery MANZ of Dresden, and Frieda DRAMNITZKI of Kitchener; brothers-in-law Adam and wife Winnie MANZ of Thamesville and Ronald MANZ of Forest. He also leaves nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife, Wilmina (Min) DRAMNITZKE (Manz) parents, Gottlieb and Caroline DRAMNITZKI (PRESSER;) son: Ervine DRAMNITZKE; grand-daughter, Carolyn DRAMNITZKE; brothers, Samuel, Harold and Eldore DRAMNITZKI; sisters: Katherine (Katy) BERGMAN, Augustina DRAMNITZKI, Alvina and husband Charles HEMRICK; brothers-in-law, Roy BERGMAN, Henry POETKER, Bill MANZ, and John and wife Anne MANZ; sisters-in-law: Betty and husband Robert POWELL and Marge MANZ. Friends will be received on Saturday, May 3rd, 2008 between 12 and 1 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 247 Westmount Rd. E., Kitchener, with funeral service to immediately follow at 1 p.m. Bill will be interred beside his wife at Memory Gardens following the funeral. Bill requested that memorial donations be made to the Faith Lutheran Church Building Fund or St. Stephens Lutheran Church and they can be arranged by contacting the funeral home at (519) 743-8900. COLE, Patricia Anne (née STAGG)
At University Hospital on Wednesday, April 17, 2008 Patricia Anne COLE in her 71st year. Dear mother of Stephanie, Alison and Judd, mother-in-law of Katharina GOETTE and Jon TONDEUR, former spouse of George COLE. Patricia was taken from us suddenly through unforeseen illness, and her vital presence on this earth will be sadly missed. A brilliant scholar who taught English Literature and English-as-a Second-Language to thousands, Patricia played an integral role in shaping the lives of young London High School Students and New Canadians alike, and was a support to them long after they moved on to other pursuits and careers. She leaves behind a vast legacy of Friendships and admirers and is survived by her loving grandchildren, Madison, Zoe, Isaac and Cole. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday morning, April 22nd from 10: 30 o'clock until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon. Peacefully at Millennium Trail Manor in Niagara Falls, on Saturday, May 31st, 2008, in his 86th year. He was the son of the late Albert BREEN and Eliza Jane CHARLTON. A Merchant Navy Veteran, he later married and moved to Port Colborne from Owen Sound. Beloved husband of Laura ERICKSON, of St. Catharines. Cherished father of Patricia Anne McINTYRE and her husband, Rand, of Cambridge. Dear brother of Rita GOETZ, of Shallow Lake and Leonard BREEN, of Owen Sound. Loving step-father of Cathy LUXMORE, Carol ERICKSON and step-grandfather of Matthew. Predeceased by his first wife, Doris FLOOD, three brothers, Fred, Norman and Nelson and three sisters, Sally BEVAN, Vera BAWCUTT and Alma McBRIDE. Al will be sadly missed by both family members and Friends. A Memorial Service for Alan BREEN will take place in the Chapel of the Brian E. Proud Father of Lynda (Doug) SPLAN, Bill (Dorrie) CHISHOLM, Peter (Helen) CHISHOLM, Mark (Patti) CHISHOLM, Laurie (Mike) GOETZ, Nancy (Neil) BIEMAN, Brenda (Steve) BERRY, Sally CHISHOLM and Cathy (Dan) HINSCHBERGER. Cherished Grandfather of 20. Great-grandfather of 8. Dear brother of Marybelle (Mel) EDWARDS, Don (Fran) CHISHOLM and Dianne (Nigel) BELLCHAMBER. Predeceased by his parents Ben and Bessie (GRANT) CHISHOLM and granddaughter Julie. Grant was a proud member of the Lion's Club, and was the Past District Governor A9 in 1975 and 1976. Grant owned and operated Chisholm Fuels in Lucknow and surrounding area and was in the fuel business for over 50 years, he also was a past president of COHA. Family and Friends will be received at the Falconer Funeral Homes Ltd., "Bluewater Chapel", 201 Suncoast Drive, East, Goderich, Ontario N7A 4H8 (519-524-1221) on Tuesday March 11th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Saint Peter's Church, 156 North Street, Goderich on Wednesday March 12, 2008 at 11 a.m. Reverend Father John JASICA officiating. Spring Interment Greenhill Cemetery, Lucknow. Members of the Lions Club will hold a memorial service at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 6: 30 p.m. followed by Parish Prayers at 7:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Community Living Association of Wingham. Grant was blessed with a happy and full life, and especially enjoyed travelling with the Lions Club and with Scottish pipe bands. His dedication to service and his community was inspiring. He will be remembered for his sense of humour and will be sadly missed by all of his family and Friends.

Peacefully on Wednesday June 11, 2008 at the Queensway Carleton Hospital in Ottawa at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Mary Allan Lindsay CRAIG. Predeceased by his parents W.G. GILFILLAN and Ella A. GOETZ and by his brother William (Bill) all of Uxbridge, nieces Kathryn LOUCKS (GILFILLAN) and Dorothy WATSON (CRAIG.) He is survived by his sister-in-law Elda GILFILLAN of Uxbridge and his nieces Jane MOSER (Elmar) of Stouffville, Barbara TOMASO (Steven) of Toronto, Heather EVELYN (Sean) of Stouffville and Mary's nephews David O. CRAIG (Helen) of Toronto, Alan PINEL of Atlanta, Georgia and niece Hélène COHAN (Stan) of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and their families. Former employee of Dominion Bureau of Statistics (Statscan) in Toronto and Ottawa, retiring in 1972. Following retirement Calder and Mary spent many winters in Bradenton, Florida and summers in Ottawa with their many Friends as well as traveling extensively. For the past three years, Calder has been a resident of Central Park Lodge in Ottawa and we appreciate the care he received.
Friends may call at the Westboro United Church Chapel, 450 Churchill Ave., Ottawa on Saturday June 21 from 11 a.m. until service time at 12 noon. Reception following the service. Cremation with interment of ashes will take place in Uxbridge cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Ottawa Carleton, 1750 Russell Road, Ottawa, Ontario, K1G 5Z6 or charity of choice.
