At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Southampton, on Tuesday, April 1st, 2008 at the age of 82 years, the former June HENDERSON of Port Elgin. Wife of the late Adam (Gindy) GINDER. Sister of Mae and her husband Bill ELLIOT/ELLIOTT of Toronto, Dorothy FIHN of Windsor, and Fred HENDERSON of Toronto. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin (Town of Saugeen Shores) from 2: 00 to 4: 00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 3rd, 2008. A funeral mass will be celebrated in Saint_Joseph's Church, 920 Wellington Street, Port Elgin on Friday at 11: 00 a.m. with Father David REILANDER as celebrant. Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Peacefully, at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Friday, April 18, 2008, Irvin MARTIN of Zurich in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Grace (ERB) MARTIN. Dear father of Dwayne and Claudia, D'Arcy and Sheri all of Zurich and Derrick and Jacqueline of Keswick. Loving grandfather of Noah and Cole; Laiken, Aerin and Jadon Kristine. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Albert and Luanna MARTIN, Alma MARTIN, Gladys MARTIN, Marion MARTIN, Roy and Lenore ERB, Margaret and Cleve GINGERICH, Mary Lou ERB and Pearl Ann and Mahlon MARTIN. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Menno and Lovina (STECKLE) MARTIN, one son Dennis in infancy, sisters Luella (Jan) ZANDWYK, Velina (Bill) OESCH, Emma (Enos) BEARINGER and brothers Harvey and Melvin MARTIN. ENSOR, Barbara " Boo" (née WELLS)
Passed away on January 7, 2008 at Kelso Pines Retirement Lodge in Owen Sound. She was 92 years of age. She will be missed by two step-children Bob ENSOR of Victoria, British Columbia, Fran VAN MEER (Kees) of Annan, Ontario and nieces and nephews: Michael (Leona) HOLLAND of Sarnia, Susan (Donald) JOHNSTON of Toronto, Gail GINGRAS of Kincardine, Geoffrey (Zuli) of Barrie, Christine (Jim) SSAINTWRENCE of Stratford and David (Liz) SYMONS of Windsor. She was predeceased by parents Arthur Frederick WELLS and Barbara Elizabeth SPIERS, her husband John and two sisters Isabel (Sibby) SYMONS and Florence (Tiny) HOLLAND. There will be a private family service and interment in the spring in Toronto. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society through the Tannahill Funeral Home, Owen Sound 519-376-3710. We want to express as a family, the thanks and appreciation we all feel for the tender loving care that Boo received at Kelso Pines. The efforts that all of you went to make her comfortable and to help us through this difficult time, will always be remembered.

(September 12, 1915-January 7, 2008)
Predeceased by her husband, John ENSOR, and her sisters, Mrs. Isabel SYMONS and Mrs. Florence HOLLAND. Survived by her step-children, Frances VAN MEER of Annan, Ontario and Robert ENSOR, of Victoria, British Columbia, and her nephews and nieces David SYMONS of Windsor, Ontario, Michael HOLLAND of Sarnia, Ontario, Susan JOHNSTON of Toronto, Gail GINGRAS of Kincardine, Ontario, Geoffrey HOLLAND of Barrie, Ontario and Christine SSAINTWRENCE of Stratford, Ontario. Barbara was a long-time friend and supporter of the Canadian art community, running the Artist's Workshop (an informal art school) in Toronto for many years, and, after her marriage and move to Ottawa, establishing the Wells Gallery there. Following her retirement and the sale of the Gallery, she lived in Kingston, Ontario for several years. before moving to a retirement home in Owen Sound to be near her step-daughter Fran. "Boo" will be fondly remembered by all her family and Friends. A private cremation has been held; interment in Toronto will be arranged in the Spring. If you wish, donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimers Society, or the charity of your choice.

RAYNER, Phyllis Marie (née GALLAGHER)
Peacefully, as the sun rose in Brantford, Ontario, on June 20, 2008, Phyllis RAYNER, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and proud nurse, died in her 86th year. Predeceased six months ago by her beloved soulmate and husband of 56 years, George. Wonderful and fun-loving mother of Shelagh (Bruce PETERSON,) Mississauga; Moira (Les WHITE/WHYTE), Ottawa; Barbara (friend of Paul FLANAGAN), Strathroy; and George (Lori LUFF), Mississauga. Adored Grandma of Susan, Kathryn (fiancée of David LUND,) and Brian PETERSON; Emily (fiancée of Stefan GINGRAS,) Elizabeth (Alex SARABURA,) Fraser, Anna, and Mary WHITE/WHYTE; and Abigail, Joshua, Zachary, and Jessica RAYNER. Honorary mother of June (Ray) LOW/LOWE/LOUGH. Dear sister of Richard (Mary) GALLAGHER, Regina; and Louis (Vivian) GALLAGHER, Thunder Bay. Predeceased by sister Patricia (late Gerald) McKAY, brother George Patrick GALLAGHER, and George's family Rev. Father Frank RAYNER, OMI, Patricia POCOCK, and Angus RAYNER. Survived by Michael and Mary (RAYNER) HADDON, Joseph POCOCK, beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews. Born October 3, 1922, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, to Doctor Patrick J. GALLAGHER and Marie Cecilia DRISCOLL, Phyllis graduated from Saint Mary's Academy, St. Boniface Hospital (R.N., 1944) and the University of Toronto (PhN, 1950). For many years she was a Public Health Nurse in Brantford, retiring in 1988 as Acting Director. A tireless volunteer, organizer, and crusader for social justice, Phyllis was the first female chair of the Saint_Joseph's Hospital board, a past chair of the Hamilton Psychiatric Hospital Community Advisory Board, a past chair of the Canadian Mental Health Association Task Force on Housing for the Psychiatrically Disabled, a past chair of the Mohawk College Studies in Aging Advisory Committee, a founding member of the Nova Vita women's shelter, and a past board member of the Brant County Children's Aid Society, the Brant District Health Council, the Children and Youth Services Council, and the Brant and Branford Housing Authority. She also worked on the Ontario Provincial Psychiatric Hospitals Strategic Planning Committee and at the Ontario Board of Parole. A lifelong Liberal, Phyllis served as president of the Brantford Liberal Party. She was also a Companion of the Sisters of Saint_Joseph. She was awarded the Canada 125 medal in 1992, the J.A.D. Marquis Award for her contribution to health care in Brant in 1995, and last month she was delighted to be presented with the Mission Legacy Award by the Saint_Joseph's Healthcare System. Phyllis will long be remembered for her incredible joie de vivre, wicked sense of humour, common sense, and quest for adventure. She loved her family fiercely, cultivated life-long Friendships, and together with George, welcomed all to their home with open arms. She will be greatly missed. Visitation at McCleister Funeral Home, 495 Park Road North, Brantford, Monday, June 23, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church, 2300 Burnhamthorpe Road West, Mississauga, Ontario, on Tuesday, June 24 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. SCHUCK, Pieter M.B.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Pieter M.B. SCHUCK at the age of 81. Pieter passed away suddenly with his wife, Annie VAN GINKEL- PLEIJSTER, by his side, in Zeist, the Netherlands on June 11, 2008. Dearly missed by his children and their families: Peter, Joanne, Robyn, and Mark Eric, Jennifer, Nicole, Tanya and Kevin; Anita, Dean, Conner and Kyla; Saskia, Simon, Tevis and Keegan. Predeceased by his wife Anna. Pieter and Anna were long time residents of Keppel Township. Service and cremation will be held in Zeist, the Netherlands. In her 93rd year, (Mrs. A.A.) Dora TRACK, beloved wife of the late Abraham Alan (April 1999), at her home on Saturday, June 21, 2008. Loving, thoughtful and caring mother of Susan, Norman and Barbara. Many of her lifelong Friendships grew out of her life in Huntsville, and at Camp Winnebagoe, Muskoka Lodge and Holy Blossom Temple. The family gratefully thanks Merly Taban for her loving care of Dora.
