GLEN, Peter
May 18, 2008. In his 77th year our father took his final bow. Dad passed peacefully surrounded by family. Sadly missed by daughter Susan (Steve) GIMERA, son, Peter F. GLEN, his grandchildren Amanda Catherine GIMERA and Declan Glen GIMERA as well as former wife Catherine GLEN. Born in Coatbridge, Scotland to the late James and Margaret GLEN, he was the eldest of 15, (predeceased by Sadie, John, Mary and Josephine) and is missed in Canada and Scotland by Edward (Nan), Arthur (Diane), James (Rita), Alec (Beverly), Susan, Margaret (Michael), Isabel, Betty (John), Patricia (Terry), Annemarie (Paul) and 46 nieces and nephews, and extended family around the world. He was a Scottish Tenor, stage and film actor, entertaining for over 50 yrs (Expo 67, Canadian National Exhibition, Roy Thompson Hall, Hits of the Blitz) His final performance was in January at Scarborough Civic Centre, his 38th annual tribute to Robert Burns. Visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 Wed May 21st at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East Funeral Mass at St. Bartholomew's Parish, 59 Heather Road, on Thursday May 22nd at 10 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
