GIFFIN, Jane Marie (GLAVE)
Our hero who inspired us for 2 years with her fierce determination and undying optimism, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2008, surrounded by Friends and family. This beautiful young woman who refused to see anything but the best possible outcome, and who kept her humour and wit until the end is now our very own Valentine Angel. She leaves her best friend and husband Charles and their children Coulton (6) and Kaitlyn (3), loving parents Frank and Louise GIFFIN (retired Ontario Provincial Police Association,) sisters Liz and Kate (Paul STEVENSON,) brothers Frank (Lisa) and John, and her nieces and nephews, that she so loved. Jane will be sadly missed by Betty GLAVE (Nana to Jane's children) and all the members of the Glave family. Jane's buoyant and loving personality magnetized a huge circle of Friends who have loved her and supported her throughout this journey. Heartfelt thanks to the Georgina Dragon Boat Team, CASH, Southlake Regional Cancer Centre and for the tenderness expressed by the Cancer Care nurses Joanna, Jennifer and Helen. Visitation and Services were held at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South (northeast corner of Yonge and Industrial Parkway, 905-727-5421) Interment Greenwood Cemetery.
