Of Saint Thomas, passed away on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008, at
the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in his 68th year. Beloved
son of the late Doctor Maxwell and Helen

Also survived by five beautiful great-nieces whom he adored and
by Ross and Sue
MOORE, whose life long Friendship and devotion
in his time of need meant everything to Bob in his final days.
(The family is truly grateful for you Friendship.) Robert was
born in Saint Thomas on August 26th, 1940. He was a retired teacher
and worked in North Bay, Hamilton and was the Director of Education
at the University of Toronto. He also did supply teaching for
the Thames Valley Board. Bob was a Mason, a member of the Hi-Ro
Shrine Club Clown Unit, former member of the Rotary Club and
was a member of Trinity Anglican Church. A Public memorial service
will be held at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas
on Saturday, May 3rd, 2008 at 11: 00 a.m., with a reception to
follow. Cremation has taken place, with private interment of
the ashes in Elmdale Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the
Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Foundation. A special thank

HOFHUIS for being such a wonderful and caring
family physician and to the nurses on 2nd, 4th and 5th floors
of the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital for their loving care
of "Uncle Bob."
