Suddenly, as a result of a motor vehicle accident Rose DELANEY age 79 years of Walsingham on Sunday, May 11, 2008. Beloved wife of the late M. Heber DELANEY (November 1998.) Dear mother of Rosanne "Sue" LEE and her friend Brian CASTLE of Straffordville Bob (Sharon) DELANEY of Tillsonburg; Richard (Rose) DELANEY of Courtland; Ron (Geri) DELANEY of Tillsonburg. Loving grandmother to seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Anna KLINGER of Hungary; Helen (Richard) PEACOCK of Tillsonburg Margaret (Michael) FODY of Courtland, and Louis SPANICS of Walsingham. Rose is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother-in-law Rudolf KLINGER, and her nephew Brent PEACOCK. Rose was past Noble Grand in 1986 of Myrtle Rebecca Lodge #177 of Tillsonburg, a member of Ladies Encampment Auxiliary Elgin Rebecca Lodge #20, and a member of Ladies Auxiliary Patriach Militant Ingersoll Rebecca Lodge Embro #19, and Silver Lake Rebecca Lodge Port Dover #50. She was also a member of the Imperial Order of the Daughters of the Empire, a lifetime member of Cultus United Church, and a member of the Tillsonburg and Simcoe Fairboards. The family will receive Friends, neighbours, and family at Ostrander's Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell St. Tillsonburg (519) 842-5221 on Thursday May 15, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service for Rose will be held in Ostrander's Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 1 p.m. Pastor Ted SMITH of Cultus United Church officiating. Interment Cultus Cemetery. A Rebecca evening memorial service will be held in Ostrander's Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday evening at 6: 30 p.m. At the family's request memorial donations (payable by cheque) may be made to Camp Trillium.
