Passed away peacefully on June 12, 2008 after a short battle
with cancer. Predeceased by Wilfred James
LAVIGNE almost seven
years ago after being married for 44 years, Paddy leaves three
sons, Mark (Kim), Greg (Patricia) and Todd, and four grandchildren
Amalee, Maggie, Hunter and Keegan. The family would like to thank
the nurses and doctors at Southlake Regional Health Centre, York
Central Hospital and Sunnybrook Medical Centre for their wonderful
and compassionate care. As well, the visits and condolences by
Friends and family have been greatly appreciated. A Memorial
Service will be held at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial

FLYNN) in Toronto. Shelagh passed away on July 4, 2008 after
a lengthy struggle with liver disease. Shelagh was a securities
lawyer specializing in mutual funds for many years with Canadian
Imperial Bank of Commerce, Scotia Capital, and Fidelity, following
articles and as an associate in corporate law with Torys. Shelagh
had a previous career as a social worker with the Catholic Children's
Aid Society, worked as a researcher on The Shulman File for CITY
television, and prior to that enjoyed summers as an Air Canada
flight attendant. Graduate of Windsor Law School (LL.B., Class
of '85) and York University's Glendon College (Honours B.A. in
English and Psychology, 1979). Kearney, Ontario holds a special
place in Shelagh's heart. Thanks to Gary and Heidi and Charlene.
The family will receive Friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home -
A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue
East), from 6: 30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9. Donations
