JOHNSON, Norma Bernice (née DOBNEY)
In Southampton on Friday March 21, 2008. Norma JOHNSON of Southampton in her 83rd year. Beloved wife and best friend of Alfred JOHNSON. Norma will be sadly missed by her nephews, Paul FIFE and his wife Marylee of Windsor, Tom FIFE of Toronto, and her great-nieces, Jessica, Megan, and Lauren. She will be remembered by her special Friends Charlie and Marion Ellis, Gilles and Desneiges Roy, and Murial Studholme. Predeceased by her parents Fred and Ruby DOBNEY, and by her sister Alene FIFE. A Memorial Service to Celebrate the life of Norma JOHNSON will be held at the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton, on Thursday March 27, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment of Ashes in Southampton Cemetery at a later date. JOHNSON, Alfred Christian
In Southampton on Saturday April 5, 2008. Alfred JOHNSON of Southampton in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of the late Norma JOHNSON, who passed away only 15 days earlier. Alf will be sadly missed by his nephews, Paul FIFE and his wife Marylee of Windsor, Tom FIFE of Toronto, and his great nieces, Jessica, Megan, and Lauren. Survived by his brother Alvin and his wife Joan of Windsor. He will be remembered by his Friends Gilles and Desneiges ROY and by the members of the Probus Club of Saugeen Shores, where he was a Past President. Predeceased by his parents Victor and Lima JOHNSON, and by his sister Mary. Cremation. A Memorial Service to Celebrate the Life of Alfred JOHNSON will be held in the Chapel of the Eagleson Funeral Home, Southampton, on Saturday April 12, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment of Ashes in Southampton Cemetery. CANN, Doris Violet (née WOODHOUSE)
Peacefully and with family beside her at the family home in ‘Griersville', St. Vincent Township, on Friday, April 25, 2008. Born in Euphrasia Township, a daughter of the late Violet Florence (née) DOBSON and Frederick William WOODHOUSE. Doris CANN, in her 80th year, predeceased by her beloved husband Reginald Alexander CANN in June 2005. Much loved mother of Carol and her husband Doug BOWINS and Larry CANN and his wife Barb, all of Meaford; Lonnie CANN and his wife Penny of Markdale; Barb and her husband Bill SADLER also of Meaford; and Sherry and her husband Charles DEAL of Cambridge. Sadly missed by eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren: Scott and Susan BOWINS and their children Sam and Shelby, Tanya BOWINS and her son Eric, Lori and Jeff WILLIAMS and their children Hayley and Tate, Marsha and Darryl MOLAND and their daughters Emma and Julia, Amy CANN (Murray FIFE,) Michelle and Matthew JUBY and their children Morgan, Drew, Logan and Carly, Amanda and Chad RONEY and their children Jacob, Emily, Jordan and Summer, Adam MANELLA, Matthew MANELLA (Candise GLEASON,) and Chris and Melissa SADLER. Predeceased by a granddaughter Andrea and a great-granddaughter Lily. Dear sister of Lloyd WOODHOUSE and his wife Jean and Harold Woodhouse and his wife June all of Heathcote and predeceased by a brother Arnold WOODHOUSE and remembered by his wife Dorothy. Sister-in-law of Jessie (late Robert LACKEY) of Orangeville, Mary (late Leslie) BREADNER of Heathcote, Viola GRAHAM (late Ernie BURGOYNE), Verna (late Murray HODGKINSON), Blanche (Mrs. Keith KNIGHT) and Elgin CANN and his wife Marlene all of Meaford. Also predeceased by sisters-in-law Wilma WOODHOUSE and Irene EMARY. Fondly remembered and special Aunt of many nieces and nephews and their families. A private family funeral service, officiated by Peter McDONALD of the Church of Christ, will be conducted at the Ferguson Funeral Home in Meaford on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 with committal and interment services to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. On Monday, February 25, 2008 at the age of 46. Dear son of Alice WALENT- BELLAR and her husband John BELLAR, Bright's Grove. Brother of Jeff and his wife Roxanne and their sons Max and Alex, Markham. Brother-in-law of Gigi WALENT and her children Abigail and Isaac, Wyoming. Step-brother of Christina FIFE and her husband John, their children Kyle and Riley MICHELLE, Marysville and Sheryl ZIMMER and her husband Sam and her daughter Briauna, Marysville. Dear friend of Bill W. Predeceased by father Frank (1978), brothers Floyd (1993) and Frank (2007) and nephew Zachariah (1999). Visitation at the McKenzie and Blundy Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jim HIGGINS at St. Benedict's Church on Monday at 10: 30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Flowers kindly declined. KEAY, Morfydd Margaret " Patricia" (née ATKINSON)
(Sept. 14, 1927-June 23, 2008)
At home, surrounded by her family, cherished wife of Peter KEAY, loving and devoted mother to Jennifer (Ken GODMERE,) Alexandra (David MURRAY) and Rebecca (David FIFE,) loving "Gran" to Emma, Andrew, Alexa and Victoria. "Pat" entered the Drama School of the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto in 1947 and emerged three years later to perform in theatre and Canadian Broadcasting Corporation radio across Ontario and in Bermuda. Her love of books, theatre, art and music were contagious which she shared lovingly with her children and grandchildren whom she adored. The family extends deep appreciation to Doctor Wallace ARCHIBALD of the Russell Medical Clinic, physician and dear friend, and to our exceptional palliative team of Saint Elizabeth Health Care and the Champlain Community Care Access Centre. At Pat's request there will be no visitation. A private, family service will be held at Saint_James' cemetery in Toronto at a later date.
