MOODIE, Irvine Watson
On Tuesday, February 19th, 2008, in his 74th year after a short illness. Husband of 49 years of Anita (CASSIS) MOODIE. Born in Saint Thomas on June 14th, 1934 to the late James and Janet (IRVINE) "Babe" MOODIE. He was employed by the New York Central Railroad for 9 years and then the Saint Thomas Fire Dept. as a First Class Firefighter for over 30 years until his retirement in 1993. Irv is also survived by his two sons Michael and his wife Beverley and David and his wife Darlene all of Saint Thomas; by a brother James Harry MOODIE, London and a sister Janet (Bill) CLINTON of London and sister-in-law Joyce MOODIE, Saint Thomas. Also survived by 4 grandchildren Jaimi-Lee, Kitchener, Adam, Zachary and Alexandra all of Saint Thomas; brothers and sisters in-law Jeanette (Reg) FAUBERT, Saint Thomas; Claudette (Bill) DOBSON, Clearville; Kenneth (Valerie) CASSIS, London; Philip (Lorna) CASSIS, Saint Thomas and Lynda (Ian) CHARLTON, North Carolina and nieces and nephews by an aunt Alice IRVINE, Port Stanley and by a special family friend Mary BROWN, Windsor. Predeceased by sisters Margaret MOODIE and Helen SIMPSON and by a brother Jack. Irvine enjoyed his retirement traveling and being with family. Irv was known by the members of the Department as a "Firefighter's Firefighter". Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St. Saint Thomas where funeral service will be held Saturday at 11: 00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Angels' Cemetery. Don of Magnetawan, formerly of Stayner, beloved husband of Susan FITZPATRICK. With her family by her side, Frances Eva KILLEEN of London died peacefully on Thursday, March 27, 2008 in her 76th year. Born in Dublin, Ireland she was predeceased by her parents Jeremiah and Elizabeth DALY. Beloved wife of 51 years to Patrick and deeply missed by children, Karen, Philip (Maureen,) Robert, Sandie ENNETT (Joseph,) and Debbie ACTON (Peter) and also grandchildren who will forever cherish many memories, Michael, Erica, Emily, Jerry, Mitchell and Laura. Frances is also survived by a sister Vera CHADWICK of Woodstock and many other brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews in Ireland. Frances was extremely blessed to have the Friendship of Tom and Cathy FAULDS. Friends will be received at the John T. Beloved wife of 53 years of Wilbert (1999) and the most wonderful Mother to Jim (Linda) of Fonthill and Mary (Robert) MARTIN of St. George. Cherished Grandmother of Jodie (Joel) BELLEROSE; the late Amy Kerr DICKSON/DIXON (2005;) Nicole (Chip) FOSTER; Peta (Wes) SNEEK; Katie MARTIN and Jacqueline MARTIN. Very special "GGma" to Benjamin and Spencer BELLEROSE; Paige DICKSON/DIXON; Keeley and Charlie SNEEK; Lake and Finn FOSTER. The family is extremely grateful to the kindness, caring and support of Doctor Cathy FAULDS and Doctor Cathy WALSH; Lori LATKEY and the staff at Metcalfe Gardens; the Acute Care staff at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital and the amazing nurses on the Palliative wing at Parkwood. After a courageous battle with cancer until her peaceful passing in Ottawa hospital on Friday, January 11, 2008. Carol Elizabeth BRADLEY of Pembroke, born in Cobourg on July 19, 1935. Beloved wife of Henry J. BRADLEY, Q.C. Loving mother of David (Nancy PETRICK) BRADLEY, Thunder Bay; Elizabeth (Jim BELASKIE) BRADLEY, Houston, Texas; Matthew (Lisa) BRADLEY, Pembroke; Henry Christopher (Carolyn) BRADLEY, Ottawa; Victoria (fiancé Kip BRADFIELD) BRADLEY, Massey. Beloved daughter of Rosamond HAYDEN of Cobourg. Predeceased by father Harold HAYDEN, brothers Tim HAYDEN and John HAYDEN (infant.) Dear sister of David (Peggy) HAYDEN of Scarborough. Very loving aunt to Jennifer (Charlie) FAULKNER, Chicago; and John (Jennifer) HAYDEN, Whitby. Daughter-in-law of the late Verna J. DAWSON of Thunder Bay. Carol moved to Pembroke in 1957 at which time she continued her teaching career for two years at Victoria Street Public School. The 60's and 70's were focused on raising her children and thereafter working with Henry in his law firm. Carol's impact on life in the community was enormous through her involvement in a myriad of clubs, charitable organizations and endeavours. She will be especially remembered for her long-time involvement in the Pembroke Ski Club, Canadian Club, Alexandra Club and the Women's Auxiliary of the First Presbyterian Church. Carol served the people of Ontario during her tenure on the Ontario Parks Council with pride and vigour where she travelled the province at large. Those who knew Carol know that she enjoyed life to the fullest and was grateful for her ability to remain active until overtaken by illness. Many will remember Carol's competitive, no nonsense nature and her particular love of bridge. Carol loved the outdoors and found peace and great satisfaction working in her garden at her home on Supple Street. Until now, Carol continued to be active with Henry on the ski hill, on the tennis court, on the beaches of Mexico, Florida and Mont Ste. Marie, at the horse races in Saratoga and Florida, at the National Arts Centre and on the dance floor. Well known for her infectious laugh and love of a good party, Carol was always happiest when she had the opportunity to host family and Friends in her home. Visitation at the Malcolm Deavitt and Binhammer Funeral Home, 141 Renfrew St, Pembroke on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service in First Presbyterian Church on Tuesday at 11 a.m., followed by cremation. After the sale of Yokum Faust Chemicals to a national firm, Frank and his family relocated to Montreal, Quebec for several years and then to Oakville, Ontario. Predeceased by his wife of nearly 60 years, Mildred C. FAUST, he is survived by his three children: Francia STEVENS (John) in Naples, Florida, Tom FAUST (Judy) in Oakville, Ontario, Mari-Ellen MARTIN (Joe) in Vancouver, British Columbia; his grandchildren: Derek JOHANNSON (Anne) in Baltimore, Maryland; Leslie SIMMONS (Scott) in Wilmington, North Carolina Stephen FAUST (Julia) in Uxbridge, Ontario; Heather FAUST- MAZUREK (Robert) in Santa Cruz, California; and Joseph, Jason and Jeremy MARTIN in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is survived by nine great-grandchildren and four step grandchildren. He is survived by his brother Tom FAUST (Julia) of Oakville, Ontario and Freeport, Bahamas and sister Erdyne KILLINGSWORTH in London, Ontario. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 28th, 2008 at The Oakview Funeral Home Chapel at 56 Lakeshore Road West (one block East of Kerr Street) Oakville 905-842-2252 at 10 a.m. A parishioner of Saint Michael's in London, St. Malachy's in Montreal and St. Andrew's in Oakville. Frank will be interred at Saint Peter's Cemetery in London, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

After a lengthy battle with dementia, Martin "Buzz" in his 73rd year of Forest, went home to be with his Saviour suddenly but peacefully at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia on May 12, 2008. Loving husband of Peggy (Joyce). Much loved father of Cathie BROWN of London, Kimberley and Jim BROWN- FAUST of Clemson, South Carolina, Lisa and Andy PARRENT of London. Buzz will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Sierra and Quinn. Brother of Marilyn and Stanley REUTER of Washington State, Joyce SEMPH, Bob and Jean BROWN all of Forest. Frank H. FAUST, born in Newark, New Jersey on March 14, 1911, died in Oakville, Ontario on April 24, 2008.
A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, with a B. Sc. Degree in Chemistry, Frank's professional life was with his father's Company Yokum Faust Chemicals in London.
