HAW, Robert Bruce
In Meaford on Thursday January 17, 2008. Bruce HAW of Meaford, and formerly of Orangeville, in his 62nd year. Past Governor of the Optimist Clubs in the Eastern Ontario District and former principal with the Dufferin School Board. son of the late Gordon and Sylvia (née STEWARD/STEWART/STUART) HAW of Dundalk. Beloved husband of the former Doris ECCLES and much loved father of Mark HAW and his wife Sharon, Scott HAW and his wife Jennifer and Joanne and her husband Peter SCHULZ all of Barrie. Sadly missed Papa of Taylor and Jonathan HAW, Jacob HAW, and Kavan, Rori and Rowan SCHULZ. Dear brother of Fred SNELL (Ardiste) of Lethbridge, Alberta, Audrey NORTHEY (late Les) of Minden, Wanda VANDER KRAAN (late Herb) of Fort Erie, Lois SCHISTAD (late Eric) of London, David SNELL (Mary Lou) of Waterloo, Evelyn HARRINGTON of Fergus, and Brian SNELL of Font Hills, Alberta. Brother-in-law of Ross and Joan JOHNSON of Meaford and Robert and Marie ECCLES of Waterloo and fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and their families. Bruce's family will receive Friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home, 48 Boucher St. E., in Meaford on Saturday evening from 7 until 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services, officiated by Reverend Steve WEBB, will be conducted at Knox Presbyterian Church in Meaford on Monday January 21, 2008 at 1: 30 p.m. with interment and committal to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, donations to the Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre Foundation, Children's Health Foundation (Computers for Kids Program), Cross Country Canada (Highlands Trail Blazers), or Canadian Cancer Society (Relay for Life) or a charity of choice would be appreciated.

BARTLETT, James " Jim" William
Suddenly at London Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, February 19, 2008. James "Jim" William BARTLETT of Drumbo in his 60th year. Beloved husband of Karen BARTLETT for 38 years. Dear father of Tim BARTLETT and his wife April of Drumbo. Special grandpa of Emily, Ethan and Brayden. Dear brother of Joe BARTLETT and his companion Jeannie of London and Lyn GODDARD and her late husband Bob (2005) of Strathroy. Beloved son of Dorothy BARTLETT of Strathroy. Dear brother-in-law of Ron GILLESPIE and his wife Judie of Princeton and Morris ECCLES and his wife Carole of Huntsville. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his father Thomas "Bill" BARTLETT (2003,) father-in-law Earl GILLESPIE (1989,) mother-in-law Dorothy GILLESPIE (2006,) and sisters-in-law Joanne MUELLER (1975,) Carol ECCLES (2003) and Betty GILLESPIE (2004.) Prior to settling on their farm in Drumbo in 1975, Jim served for a number of years with the Waterloo Regional Police Department. In addition to working his own farm, Jim was employed with a variety of agricultural businesses in the area. Friends may call at the Longworth Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday, February 22, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11: 00 a.m. with Rev. FERGUSON, Margaret Anne " Fergie"
Passed away peacefully at Norview Lodge, Simcoe on March 15, 2008 in her 89th year. Anne will be lovingly remembered by her niece Beth ELLIS of Port Ryerse, her great nieces Cassandra VARRICCHIO and Danielle ECCLES (Ryan,) her great-great-nephews and niece Anthony VARRICCHIO, Devon ECCLES and Payge BURK/BURKE, all of London, Ontario. Predeceased by her sister Betty (1984) and brother-in-law Vic ELLIS (1986,) and her brother Hugh FERGUSON. The family would like to thank Norview Lodge staff in Chestnut Hill who cared for Anne with the utmost care, compassion and dignity. Fergie's Funeral Service took place on Monday, March 17th, 2008 at the Murphy Funeral Home, Delhi (519) 582-1290. Interment followed in the family plot at Delhi Cemetery. The family requests, as expression of sympathy, donations to your local Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or to the Simcoe and District Humane Society.

HENDRY, Lillian Irene
At London Health Sciences Centre University Hospital on Thursday, May 15, 2008, Lillian Irene HENDRY in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late James Lovet HENDRY (1991) and dear sister of Bernice SHIPMAN of Exeter and her late husband Garnet SHIPMAN. Predeceased by her sisters Amy FINKBEINER and Helen FAWCETT and one brother Russell FINKBEINER. Also loved by nieces and nephews Glenn SHIPMAN, Gail STUBBE, Gary SHIPMAN, Laurie SHIPMAN, Dianne BANKS, Elaine SMITH, Ralph FINKBEINER, Melvin FINKBEINER, Jim FINKBEINER, Elva McINTYRE and Betty ECCLES. A private family service will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St. with the Rev. Frank MANTZ officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial donation to charity of choice. JOHNSON, A.E. "Ted" (1926-2008)
Of Braeside Avenue, in Waterloo, on May 18, 2008. Ted was born in Mount Forest, the son of Ethel and George JOHNSON. He was predeceased by his wife Audrey (HARMAN) in 1999, his parents and infant siblings. He is survived by his sister, Joan ECCLES (Alvin) of Mount Forest, sister-in-law Maureen HARRISON (Colin) of Beamsville and several nieces and nephews.
Ted was employed for more than 42 years in a variety of positions at Dominion Rubber and Uniroyal, retiring in 1986 as Director of Human Resources. He was Past President of the K-W Little Theatre and the Grand Valley Personnel Association.
Honouring Ted's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service. Ted has asked for family, Friends, neighbours, former business associates and health care providers to join in a Celebration of his life on Sunday, June 1, 2008 at the Waterloo Inn, 475 King Street N., Waterloo from 2-4 p.m. Interment will be conducted at Mount Forest Cemetery at a later date.
