SMITH, Wilhelmina--In loving memory of Wilhelmina J. SMITH (EADIE) April 15, 1936 - December 18, 2005.
Mom,
Till the stars have lost their sparkle
And the sun no longer shines
Till the flowers fail to bloom
You will always be on our mind
Till lighting no longer strikes,
And rain stops falling
Till the rainbow have no ending
Your name we will be still calling
Till time stops ticking
And skies are empty of blue
Till our heart stops beating
We will always love you.
Forever loved, Marilyn, Doug, Billy, Connie and Keith

EADIE--In loving memory of Johnny Eadie, 1916 - 1943.
The ballad of Johnny Eadie
It was on a winter’s day when Johnny Eadie sailed away
To old England far across the deep blue sea.
And his heart was gay and light to be in the freedom fight,
This young Canadian who had dreams of victory.
‘Cause in time they were to come against the foe.
And as he marched he had good faith in the famous forty-eighth,
Those brave highlanders of Canada’s pride and show.
Refrain
Oh, Johnny Eadie we salute you
You’re just one who helped to see we did not fall,
And our courage and great endurance
Will forever be remembered by us all.
In the year of forty-three, on the isle of Sicily
This lad, he fell for his dear Canadian land.
And his duty it was done, in a battle that was won,
But young Johnny did not live to see the end.
He now lies ‘neath foreign soil
Where Sicilians live and toil
And his grave is there to see e’re you may pass.
He was killed in No Man’s Land
For the liberty of man, now his cross stands there, a symbol of his great task.
Oh, Johnny Eadie we salute you
You are the one who helped to see we did not fall
And your courage and great endurance will
Forever be remembered by us all.
Written by Stanley J. MILLS who grew up in Little Current and was in the same regiment as Johnny EADIE.
Joyce BROWN.

In 1952, Howard and his brothers George and Mel founded Teskey Construction and Teskey Concrete which has provided a livelihood for many Toronto area families for over 50 years. The business provided the backdrop for a wonderful life with family, Friends and work colleagues alike, as Howard will be remembered as someone who loved life and lived it to the fullest. Howard greatly enjoyed golfing at St. George's, the National and the Vines Golf Clubs, cottage time in Orillia, winters in Florida and taking trips with Gertie and 'the boys'. His dry sense of humour and enjoyment of time with Friends and family, together with the 'odd' cigar were signature Howard moments. Howard was a devoted hockey dad and became a devoted hockey Granddad and took pride in all of his childrens' and grandchildrens' accomplishments, whether hockey, golf, baseball, academic achievements or just visits with him. Howard will be greatly missed by the employees of Teskey, his many work acquaintances, his golfing and card room buddies, and his and Gertie's many dear Friends. Friends may call at the Turner and Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke, (between Islington and Kipling Aves.)
