SANTOS,
Dionisio
Ricardo
Passed away suddenly but not unexpectedly on March 6, 2008, surrounded
by his heartbroken family at Toronto Western Hospital. Survived
by his devoted wife
Elisa, children Maria
GABRIELA
(Ed,)
Tony
(Silvana), Elizabeth (Adam), and grandchildren David (April),
Monica (Bryan), Daniel, Austin, Cassandra, Ophelia and Allegra.
Sadly missed by his mother Hortense, 9 brothers and sisters,
especially those living in France. Born in Ferrel, Portugal on
May 20, 1940, Dionisio had many great adventures working through
Europe before arriving in Canada in 1968. A master bricklayer
by trade, Dionisio was extremely proud to have helped build the
great city of Toronto. Paralyzed by a 26-foot fall in 1989, Dionisio
was grateful to have survived those circumstances, and see his
family grow. He will forever be remembered for his work ethic,
generosity, compassion, and Friendship. The family would like
to thank in particular Doctor S.
RADOMSKI,
Anna
DYBALSKI, and the
caring staff of the Toronto Western Hospital Intensive Care Unit
and Community Care Access Centre nurses. Private services were
held on March 8, 2008. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made
to the Women's College Neo-Natal Incubator Fund, a cause very
close to his heart.
