Peacefully, with his family at his side on Saturday, April 19, 2008, Charles "Gordon" STEVENSON of Tillsonburg in his 97th year. Born in Yarmouth Centre in Elgin County on March 4, 1912. Dear son of the late William STEVENSON and the former late Anne BROOKS. Resident of Tillsonburg for the past 65 years. Member of First Baptist Church serving on Finance Board, Deacon Board Moderator of Oxford Brant Association for number of years. Honorary Member of Gideons. A barber in Tillsonburg for over 72 years. Predeceased by his wife, Jean (PILKINGTON) STEVENSON, May 16, 2004. Loving father of Bill (and Pam) STEVENSON, R.R.#2 Bayfield, Paul (and Penny) STEVENSON, Clinton, Ontario, Barbara (and Grant) STEWARD/STEWART/STUART, Courtney, British Columbia, Ruth (and Albert) CHURCH, Tillsonburg. Dear brother of one sister, Mae DUVAL, Edmonton, and a sister-in-law, Kay STEVENSON, London, Ontario. Proud grandfather of 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by five brothers and three sisters. At the request of deceased, cremation has taken place. There will be no public visitation at the funeral home. A Memorial Service will be held at the First Baptist Church on Saturday, April 26, 2008, at 11 a.m. by Rev. Ike AMORIN. Inurnment in Mapleton Cemetery. Donations (by cheque only) can be made to the Gideon, Alzheimer Society or charity of your choice. Of Hanover, passed away peacefully at South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Chesley on Thursday, May 1, 2008 in his 82nd year. Loving father of Tom Lloyd of London, Darby (Sandra) SCHLEICH of Guelph, Laurie (Stan) SHER of Ilderton, Merrilee McGILLOWAY of Calgary, Ted STRAUGHAN of Calgary, Samantha (Peter) ABEL of Putnam and Susan (Jamie) DUVAL of Strathroy. Ed will be fondly remembered by his fifteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and his sisters Betty STRUB and Eva MUSTARD. Predeceased by his brother Allan, sisters Marjorie MANTHA and Dorothy NEWMAN and his parents, Edward and Pearl (CUNNINGHAM) STRAUGHAN. At Ed's request, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at Cameron Funeral Home, Chesley (519 363-2525) on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment in Colborne Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Elmwood Alcoholics Anonymous or the Chesley Hospital Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.

Entered into rest peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital with her family by her side on Monday May 20th 2008. The former Helen Anna Adelaide GIBBS of Lansdowne aged 82 years. Beloved wife of Frank WALSKI, dear mother of Ann WALSKI of Mississauga and John WALSKI (Karen) of Lansdowne. Loving grandmother of Carina and Kendra. Anna is survived by her brothers Murray, Robert, Malcolm (Archie,) Allan (Joe,) Charles, William (Bill) GIBBS, and sisters Marion GIBBS, Janet JOHNSON, Carolyn HUNTER- DUVAR and Margaret HAYTER. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John GIBBS and his wife Helen CRAWFORD and a brother John GIBBS. The Funeral Service will be held at the Barclay Funeral Home, Lansdowne on Sunday May 25, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
