BRADLEY, Donna C. (née MUNRO)
A resident of R.R.#3 Dresden, passed away peacefully at the Bluewater Health Mitton St. Site, Sarnia on Monday, May 5, 2008 at the age of 67. Born in Enniskillen Twp. daughter of the late Herbert and Helen (ARMSTRONG) MUNRO. Beloved wife of Earl BRADLEY. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Tammy OLIPHANT and Tim HOFMANS of Wallaceburg, Chris and Rhonda BRADLEY of Dresden, John and Marie BRADLEY of Petrolia, Carrie and Tony TORTI of Sarnia. Loving grandma of Tanya, Joshua, Nathan, Keisha, Shelby, Eric, Matthew and Justin. Dear sister of Glenna HILLS (Neil) of Alvinston, Harold MUNRO (Angela) of London, Jim MUNRO (Sheila) of Arnprior, John MUNRO (Peggy) of Louisville. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The Bradley family will receive Friends at the Badder Funeral Home and Reception Centre, 679 North Street, Dresden on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 11: 00 a.m. with Rev. Barry VAN DUSEN of Sarnia officiating. Interment Dresden Cemetery. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Crohn's and Collitis Foundation. HAMILTON, David
In his 73rd year, David HAMILTON died peacefully at home after a courageous two-year battle with cancer on Tuesday, May 27, 2008. Beloved husband of Gaye (MORRIS) HAMILTON. Dearly loved father of Cynthia (Darrell) PETERS, Andrew (Denise) HAMILTON, and Heather (Steve) WEEL. Proud Grandpa (Papa) of Alicia and Shannon PETERS, Mark and Paige HAMILTON, and Katrina and Eric WEEL. Predeceased by his parents Andrew and Lillian HAMILTON and brother Ian. A 38 year employee of ICI Canada, Dave's passions were his family, golf with the ICI retirees and Friends and his beloved Montreal Canadiens hockey team. A devoted volunteer at the Inn of the Good Shepherd, Habitat for Humanity, and his church, St. Giles Presbyterian. Family and Friends will be received on Thursday, May 29, 2008, from 7: 00 to 9:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30, 2008, at 11: 00 a.m. at St. Giles Presbyterian Church, 770 Lakeshore Road, Sarnia, with the Rev. Barry VAN DUSEN officiating. DYE, Robert David " Rob"
Suddenly at Georgetown Hospital on Tuesday April 29, 2008 at the age of 45, with his special friend Ann DUSKO at his side. Rob was the loving father of Kaitlyn and Madison, both at home, the beloved son of Noreen and Bob DYE of Ridgetown, and the dear brother of Renee DYE of Mississauga. Also surviving is his former wife Natalie DYE. Rob was born in Winnipeg in 1963 and moved, with his parents, to the Greater Toronto area in 1965. He spent most of his life living and working in Mississauga, moving to Georgetown in 2002. While growing up in Mississauga Rob became very well known in both Toronto and Mississauga in minor hockey and baseball. Rob's work life was spent mainly in the automotive repair business where he managed the body repair departments for several Mississauga car dealers. The family will receive Friends on Thursday May 1, 2008 from 2: 00-4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the J.S. Jones Funeral home, 11582 Trafalgar Rd. Georgtown, and on Friday May 2, 2008 from 2: 00-4:30 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown. The Funeral Service will be conducted from the McKinlay Funeral Home on Saturday May 3, 2008 at 1: 30 p.m. with Rev. Judith FAYTER of Erie Street United Church officiating. Our dear and loving mother, Dorelise "Doris" (née GIGNAC) CLOUTIER/CLOUTHIER, left us on Friday, April 25, 2008, peacefully, after a brief illness at Parkwood Hospital, London. Late of Ashwood Manor in Lambeth and formerly of Glencoe, Ontario. Born August 1, 1924 and raised in Albertville, Saskatchewan. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph CLOUTIER/CLOUTHIER (1999,) her parents, Donat and Marie GIGNAC (nee GOBEIL) and her brothers, Lucien and Damien. Loving mother of Raymond (Anne) CLOUTIER/CLOUTHIER, Irene (Gerry) Noordhoek, Eleanor (Paul) RENAUD, Roland (Judy) CLOUTIER/CLOUTHIER, Richard (Percy) CLOUTIER/CLOUTHIER, Aline (Joseph) DE VILLER, Robert (Karen) CLOUTIER/CLOUTHIER, Dianne (Ken) KETT and Maria (Darrell) MOORE. Dorelise will be sadly missed by her dear friend Ken KING and by her many cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws to whom she was close: Mary Rose CLOUTIER/CLOUTHIER of Windsor and Laurette CLOUTIER/CLOUTHIER of Dodsland, Saskatchewan and her Friends in Glencoe and at Ashwood Manor, Lambeth. Her gentle and loving spirit will be missed and remembered always. Relatives and Friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Sunday afternoon from 2-5 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Church, Glencoe on Monday, April 28th at 10 a.m. Fr. ASTLES, Garry (August 3, 1951-May 17, 2008)
Garry died at home at the age of 56 after a long struggle with Multiple Myeloma. Garry was predeceased by his mother, Margaret DUSTAN. He is survived by his wife, Brenda (née BURGESS,) children Caitlin (Tony SILVA,) David and Christine, and step-sons Christopher ALBERT, Gregory ALBERT and Jeff ALBERT (Cherie,) his sister Susan McGILLIS (Rick,) and nieces Heather NICOLARDI (Tony,) Jennifer KING (Jeff,) nephew Sean KING (Lisa) and great-nephews and great-niece Andrew, Danielle, and Michael NICOLARDI, and Joshua KING. Garry graduated from the University of Toronto as a Civil Engineer in 1974 and worked for Dominion Bridge for 18 years. He then became a Project Manager at Babcock and Wilcox, Nuclear Division, and worked on projects at St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant in Florida, Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant in Maryland, and most recently at the Bruce Power Plant in Ontario. Garry was an avid photographer, played hockey with his University classmates for over 30 years, played baseball with the New Dundee Old Timers, and enjoyed the many challenges of his golf game - truly a man for all seasons. Garry made many Friends on whatever project he was working, and his professionalism, integrity, directness and sense of humour will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank Doctor Bob STEVENS, Doctor Erinn OWENS, and especially the nurses in the Chemo Suite at Grand River Cancer Centre, and the Paramed nurses through Community Care Access Centre. The care, respect and genuine feelings all of them displayed when caring for Garry made this difficult journey bearable. A special thanks to Garry's employer Babcock and Wilcox, and PEER Group where Brenda and Christine work, for being so generous and giving us the gift of time with Garry over the past few months. Visitation will be held at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, May 21 from 10-10: 45 a.m. The funeral service to celebrate Garry's life will follow in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, May 21 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
