MAXFIELD peacefully entered Eternal
Life on Thursday, April 17, 2008 in Chatham, Ontario. She was
born in Brownfield, Alberta in 1916, the daughter of the late
William MAXFIELD and Anna
(ADAM/ADAMS)

DOOLING. She entered
the Ursuline Sisters in Calgary, Alberta in 1932 and joined the
Ursuline Religious of the Diocese of London in 1934. During her
religious life she served as a Child Care Worker and Teacher
in Chatham, Toronto, Calgary, Grayson, Rockyford and Edmonton.
From 1982 to 2001 she did retreat work at the FCJ Christian
Life Centre in Calgary. In 2003 Sister moved to Colonel Belcher
Seniors' Residence in Calgary. In January 2007 she moved to Villa
Angela, Chatham, Ontario. She is survived by sisters, Margaret
WOTSKE and Elsie
POILE and a brother Lloyd

to join the Ursuline Community at a prayer service to be held
on Sunday, April 20, 2008 at 7: 00 p.m. in the Kiva at Villa Angela,
20 Merici Way, Chatham. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated
on Monday, April 21, 2008 at 9: 00 a.m. in the Kiva at Villa Angela,
Chatham, Ontario. Donations in memory of Sister Bernadette may
