WALLACE, Muriel Frances
Peacefully at Queensway Trillium on Thursday, January 17th, 2008. Muriel WALLACE in her 86th year. Dearly beloved wife of the late Gord for 53 years. Loving mother of Carol (Mel) THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON, June (Dave) STEWARD/STEWART/STUART, Gail (Marty) DOOLEY and Bob (Sandi.) Loved grandmother of Lindsay, Caitlin, Darcy, Ben, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Meaghan and Shannon. Dear sister of Howard (Marion) YOUNG. Sadly missed by relatives and Friends. Resting at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence) Weston on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Complete service in the chapel Tuesday 1 p.m., followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.

MAXFIELD, Sister Bernadette (Cilena Anna)
Sister Bernadette (Cilena Anna) MAXFIELD peacefully entered Eternal Life on Thursday, April 17, 2008 in Chatham, Ontario. She was born in Brownfield, Alberta in 1916, the daughter of the late William MAXFIELD and Anna (ADAM/ADAMS) Maxfield DOOLING. She entered the Ursuline Sisters in Calgary, Alberta in 1932 and joined the Ursuline Religious of the Diocese of London in 1934. During her religious life she served as a Child Care Worker and Teacher in Chatham, Toronto, Calgary, Grayson, Rockyford and Edmonton. From 1982 to 2001 she did retreat work at the FCJ Christian Life Centre in Calgary. In 2003 Sister moved to Colonel Belcher Seniors' Residence in Calgary. In January 2007 she moved to Villa Angela, Chatham, Ontario. She is survived by sisters, Margaret WOTSKE and Elsie POILE and a brother Lloyd DOOLING. She is predeceased by a brother, George DOOLING. Relatives and Friends are invited to join the Ursuline Community at a prayer service to be held on Sunday, April 20, 2008 at 7: 00 p.m. in the Kiva at Villa Angela, 20 Merici Way, Chatham. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, April 21, 2008 at 9: 00 a.m. in the Kiva at Villa Angela, Chatham, Ontario. Donations in memory of Sister Bernadette may be made to "Chatham Ursuline Charities" or to the charity of your choice. The Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham is in charge of arrangements.

WATERS, Jean
At London Health Sciences Center (University hospital Campus) on May 6, 2008, Jean WATERS passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, in her 100th year. She was a very Godly lady and had a heart of Gold. Beloved wife of the late Clarence WATERS (1988.) Wonderful mother to Helen MacDONALD (Archie) and the late Donald C. WATERS (2003) and his wife Bonnie WATERS. Kind and thoughtful grandmother to Cheryl Anne Mae BELFORD (David,) Ronald MacDONALD, Kenneth MacDONALD, Sharon WATERS, Robert WATERS and the late Dougie MacDONALD (1968) and Kevin WATERS (1967.) Wonderful Gamma to her five great-grand_sons Cole MacDONALD (Courtney) Rhett MacDONALD, Douglas BELFORD, Matthew BELFORD and Andrew BELFORD. Great great nana to Coen, Step-grandmother to Pamela, Debbie, Daniel, Heather and Crystal (Kyle) and great nana to Kobie born on Nana's 99th Birthday February 22, 2008. Predeceased by her brother Casey DOONKERVOOT (Violet) and Reka WATERS (Robert.) A private Family service will be held at the Needham Funeral Chapel on Friday May 9th, 2008. Interment to follow at Mount Brydges Cemetery. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

At Seaforth Community Hospital on Thursday, May 1, 2008, Catherine E. VAN DOORNIK of Seaforth and formerly of Tuckersmith Township, in her 78th year. Beloved wife of John VAN DOORNIK. Cherished mother of Dorothy MEDD and Russ JACKSON of Seaforth, Jackie and Don BROOKS of Stratford, Harold and Beth VAN DOORNIK of Seaforth, Joanne and Dave TILLEY of London and Steve and Sally VAN DOORNIK of Seaforth. Loving Grandmother and Oma of Christie (Brian) LITTLE and Greg MEDD; Sarah, Becky and Eric VAN DOORNIK; Shannon and Derek TILLEY; and Nicole, Ian and Claire VAN DOORNIK. Fondly remembered by her siblings and John's siblings and their families, in Holland. Predeceased by her parents, 3 brothers, 3 brothers-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law.
