GODDARD, Doris Labelle (formerly DETTMER, née HAY)
Peacefully at South Huron Hospital, Exeter, on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 Doris Labelle (HAY) (DETTMER) GODDARD, of Hensall and formerly of Exeter, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Herman DETTMER (1982) and the late Doctor John GODDARD (1998.) Dear mother of Joan and Peter KARSTENS of R.R.#2 Zurich, Jane and Sam Brady of R.R.#2 Centralia, David DETTMER of R.R.#2 Centralia and Steven DETTMER of Exeter. Loving grandmother of Anthony and Jenny HUMPHREYS, Sara-Jane Dettmer HAINES and Jake Dettmer HAINES and great-grandmother of Avigail and Adelaide HUMPHREYS. Fondly remembered by the Doctor John GODDARD family, Beth and Doug JAMIESON (Scott JAMIESON, Heather and Christine ALLEN- JAMIESON and their son Evan,) Peg and Dennis MOCK (Jeff and Donna and their children Elliot, Georgia and Jackson,) John GODDARD and MoHon Ang and Joan GODDARD and Peter Henry. Sadly missed by her sister Pat COOK and husband Doug of Hensall and her many cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters and their husbands Hazel and Harold MURRAY and Mabel and Victor JEFFREY. Her sense of humour, unconditional love, and gentle spirit will hold her close in the hearts of family and Friends forever. As an artist, her paintings reflected her love of nature and Huron County. Cremation. A Celebration of Doris' Life will be held at a later date. Interment Exeter Cemetery. The family of the late Doris "Scotty" (DETTMER) GODDARD, who passed away on February 19, 2008, invite you to a celebration of their Mother's Life on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 2 p.m. in the R.E. Pooley Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, 316 William Street, Exeter, where you can exchange memories of Doris and view some of her artistic interpretations of her world. (J.M. D'ANGELO, Paolo
Peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on March 10, 2008 at Brampton Civic Hospital in his 82nd year. Devoted husband of Ida for 53 years. Loving dad to Sandra and her husband Peter CIRILLI and Lisa POLLICE. Loving grandfather to Cynthia CIRILLI. Survived by his sister Maria D'ETTORRE of Rome and brother Lelio D'ANGELO of Rome. Paolo will always be remembered by his nieces, nephews and extended family in Rome and Canada. Family and Friends will be received at the Andrews Community Funeral Centre, 8190 Dixie Rd., Brampton (N. of Steeles), 905-456-8190, on Thursday, March 13, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass to be held on Friday, March 14, 2008 at 10: 30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church (940 North Park Dr., Brampton). Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lung Association.
