DEPATIE, Rita Emma (BARBEAU)
At the Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound on Thursday, July 17th, 2008, at the age of 79 years, the former Rita BARBEAU of Port Elgin. Beloved wife for 55 years of Andre DEPATIE. Mother of Peter and his wife Karen of Hamilton, Serge and his wife Lynn of Goderich, Guy and his wife Diane, and Mike, all of Tiverton. Grandmother of Colin, Jason, Daniel and Brittnee, Jennifer, Heather, Jordan, Brad, Andrew, and Mitchel. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, two sisters, and one brother. She is predeceased by her parents, her brother Raymond, and by her daughter-in-law Wendy. Private family funeral services will be conducted by the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 519-832-2222. Surrounded by her loving family after a brave battle with her illness, Debra PARTLO passed away peacefully, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Saturday, February 16, 2008, in her 55th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Max PARTLO (2003,) and mother Dorothy LAMB (1982.) Wonderful mother and mentor to her children Shannon SCHNEKENBURGER and Roy of Aylmer, Derek PARTLO and his wife Jody of Tillsonburg and Courtney MORSE and her husband Andrew of Straffordville. Proud "Nana" of Maxx and Hilton SCHNEKENBURGER and Landon, Logan and McKenna PARTLO. Loving daughter of Sam LAMB and his friend MaryAnne VANGEERTRUYDE of Tillsonburg. Dear sister of Terry LAMB and his wife Pat; Dan LAMB; Kelly SPRINGER and her husband Dale all of Tillsonburg. Sister-in-law of Art PARTLO and his wife Marion, Barb GULL and the late David, Sharon COULTER and her husband Bob, David PARTLO and his partner Sharon DEPAUW. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother-in-law Helen PARTLO (2002.) Deb will be forever remembered as a devoted mother who taught strong and independent values to her family. She was an original member of the Sockette baseball team, where she enjoyed some of the best years of her life. Deb will be deeply missed by all of her Friends. Family and Friends will be received at Ostrander's Funeral Home, Tillsonburg, (519) 842-5221, on Sunday, February 17, 2008 from 7: 00-9:00 p.m. and on Monday, February 18, 2008 from 2: 00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service for Debra will be held at Saint Paul's United Church, Tillsonburg on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at 1: 00 p.m. with Rev. Glenn BAKER and Rev. Tom HISCOCK officiating. Interment in the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Saint Paul's United Church Memorial Fund or the Tillsonburg Hospital would be appreciated by the family. DALY, Richard Arthur Jr.
Richard Arthur DALY Jr. (Dick) passed away at age 94 on Sunday, June 29, 2008, at Sunnybrook Veterans Care Centre. son of Richard Arthur and Katherine Cullen DALY. He attended Upper Canada College and University of Toronto, University College and belonged to Theta Delta Chi fraternity. During World War 2, Dick volunteered and served as an officer overseas with the Kangaroos Armored Personnel Carriers. After the war, he returned to Canada with the love of his life, his French bride, Genvieve HUBERT. Dick and Genvieve were married 62 years. After their marriage, he joined R.A. Daly and Company as a stockbroker, executive, and later served as president. Dick was an active member of the Timothy Eaton Memorial Church, the Toronto Golf Club, the Granite Club, the National Club, the Arts and Letters Club, the Ticker Club, and the Ahmic Lake Golf Club. Dick spent summers with his family at Ahmic Lake (Magnetawan), and enjoyed many winter vacations in Florida at the Hillsboro Club and later Boca Grande. Dick will be lovingly remembered by his wife Genevieve, his brother Tom, and his sister Katherine CASHMORE. Dick was the beloved father of Michelle and her husband Peter MORAWETZ; Patrick and his wife Sarah. Much loved 'Papa' of grandchildren Barbara and her husband Dave DEPEW, Denis, Zoe and David, and of great-grandchildren Alex and Jillian. Dick will also be missed by his attentive caregivers, Desma, Ernestina, Sam, and the staff and owners of Integra Care. In addition, Dick's family thanks the caring staff at Sunnybrook K3C.
The family will receive Friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home - A.W. Miles Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) where a funeral will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at 10: 30 a.m., followed by a reception in the Leaside Room. After a short battle at London Health Sciences Centre University Campus on Saturday, June 21st, 2008, Brian P.J. WATSON on his 39th birthday. Beloved son of Sylvia WATSON, predeceased by father Peter WATSON (1999.) Dear father of Keenen, Kiersten and Shay. Remembered by sisters Bonnie (Harding) KELLY of New Zealand and Karen (Mike) DEPONT of Mount Brydges. Sadly missed by nieces Katie and Lexie.
