It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our mother,
Joyce, on Tuesday, March 11, 2008, after a courageous battle
with breast cancer. Joyce, in 78th year, is lovingly remembered
by her five children: John (Tammy), Nancy (Les), Janice, Bruce
and Trish (Ted); her wonderful grandchildren in North Delta,
British Columbia, Beaverton and Thunder Bay, Ontario; as well
as her great-grandchildren in Thunder Bay. Survived by siblings
Bob (Elsie), Clare (Cecile) and Mava and predeceased by her husband,
William (Bill)

Rarely seen without her knitting, she always
had a sweater or two on the go. Every shopping expedition included
a "look at the wool" no matter the destination. The family will
receive Friends at the Mangan Funeral Home, Beaverton (705-426-5777)
on Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and
on Saturday from 12 noon
until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. The family would appreciate
