D'ASCANIO, Licia Rose (née ANZELLOTTI)
At home Licia Rose (née ANZELLOTTI) passed away on Monday, March 17, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Angelo Carmine D'ASCANIO. Cherished mother of Nick and his wife Lucy D'ASCANIO and Andrena and her husband Enzo (Ed) PALMA. Predeceased by her daughter Dora DI VIRGILIO (1994,) who is survived by her husband Ermando DI VIRGILIO. Loving grandmother of Annette RATTAZZI, Angelo D'ASCANIO, Lisa and James SINGER, Licia and Steve ELDER, Angela DI VIRGILIO, Mark and Krista PALMA and David and Cheryl PALMA. Adored great-grandmother of Stephen, Laura, Christopher, Nicholas, Noah, Jaclyn, Alyssa, Jordan and Taylor. Dear sister of Ada and Domenic MANINI. Predeceased by her two brothers. Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada, U.S.A. and Italy. Her family will receive Friends at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London on Wednesday evening 7-9 o'clock. Liturgy of the Word will be held to celebrate Licia's life at Saint Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street on Thursday morning at 10: 00 o'clock. Licia's final resting place will be in the Holy Family Mausoleum - Saint Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Wednesday evening at 8: 15 o'clock. Donations to the Saint Mary's Church Building Fund would be appreciated.

We would like to thanks out friend and family members for their endless acts of kindness shown to us during this time of sorrow. We appreciate all of the support given to us at the celebration of Christie's life held at Parkside Collegiate Institute on June 28th. We would like to extend a special thank you to Doctor Scott ANDERSON and the Critical Care Trauma Centre staff at L.H.S.C., where the care and compassion is second to none. A particular thank you to Melinda, of the Trillium Gift of Life Network, for her guidance and kindness. Thank you to Principle Paul MacKENZIE, and the teachers and staff of Parkside Collegiate Institute for their support and organization of Christie's celebration. We thank Rev. Roger LANDELL for his kind ministrations. We are forever grateful to Pam and Sarah DASH (Pictures in Motion) for their efforts in preparing a beautiful DVD memoir of Christie's life. We would like to express our gratitude to family friend Gaelene BAIN for her thoughtful words. Special thanks to longtime friend and teammate Kelsie ANNAERT for her heartfelt expressions. Our gratitude also goes out to Jordan JONES, who beautifully performed a song for Christie. Thank you to Al HUGHSON and all the staff of Williams Funeral Home for their experience and tireless efforts. Suddenly in Cochrane, on Sunday June 15, 2008. Harold CHITTICK of Owen Sound in his 64th year. Beloved husband of the late Velma CHITTICK. Dear father to Lisa and her husband Robert GRAHAM of Priceville and Doug and his wife Jody of Chatsworth. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Abigail, Bryce, Kurtis, Alesha, Amelia, and Megan. son of Evelyn and the late Lloyd CHITTICK. Dear brother to David CHITTICK and his wife Gloria of Allen Park, Delores GATEMAN and her husband Bob of Chesley, Cleta ERNEST and her husband Gordon of Allen Park, and Keith CHITTICK of Toronto. Also survived by his sisters-in-law Bernice RUHL and Louis RAMSAY both of Owen Sound and Eileen DASILVA of Coquitlam, British Columbia. Predeceased by his brother Wayne and twin grand_sons Adam and Alexander GRAHAM. Harold was a long time employee of Hydro One, having worked for them for over 41 years. Friends are invited for visiting at Tannahill Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour, 1049 4th Avenue West, Owen Sound on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

At Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 Julia Maria DASILVA of Strathroy in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Tony DASILVA. Dear mother or Maria FARIA and her husband Jose and grandmother of Alda and Joe and Tony and Liz. Also survived by her great-grandchildren Greg and Natalie, Stacey and Ermal, Rachelle, Justin and Zachary and great-great-grandchildren Isaiah and Braylon. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Thursday, February 21st from 7: 00 p.m. to 9: 00 p.m. Parish prayers will be said at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Friday, February 22nd at 11: 00 a.m. Father Lucio COUTO celebrant. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Donations to Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Julia.

At Victoria Hospital on Sunday, March 9, 2008, Fernando de Sousa AMARAL in his 60th year. Beloved husband of Lubelia AMARAL. Loving father of John AMARAL (Lidia) and Nelson AMARAL. Brother of Palmira SOUSA of Portugal. Predeceased by his brothers Manuel (1999) and Jose (2002) and his sister Sofia (1995). Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Canada and Portugal. Visitors will be received on Tuesday from 2: 00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the O'Neil Funeral Home, 350 William Street (between King and York) where the Funeral Service will be conducted in the Chapel on Wednesday at 10: 00 a.m. with Pastor Joao DASILVA officiating. Interment Saint Peter's Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
