COOPER-SWEETMAN, Trudy (formerly VAN DAELE, COOPER, née PAGE)
Of London and Stokes Bay passed away peacefully surrounded by family at her summer residence in Stokes Bay on Sunday, May 18, 2008 in her 62nd year. Cherished wife of Brian SWEETMAN, daughter-in-law of Doug SWEETMAN, step-mother of Penny (Barry) EDGAR of Restoule and sister-in-law of Shirley MARSH of Guelph, May COOPER of Vancouver, Bruce SWEETMAN, Brenda SWEETMAN, Helen (Ken) STEWARD/STEWART/STUART and Norma (Scott) MURPHY, all of London and Suzy VAN DAELE of Chatham. She will be sadly missed by her niece Cathy (Ted) VAN RYN of London, her 'beloved' kids Mike (Amber,) Kate and Leigh VAN RYN, her grandchildren Ryan (Annette) EDGAR and Todd (Kerrie) EDGAR, as well as her great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. Trudy was predeceased by her parents Catherine 'Margie' JUNOR and Harry PAGE, brother Bob MARSH, sister Joan (Gord) HULLEY, brother-in-law Charlie COOPER, mother-in-law Audrey SWEETMAN, first husband Werner VAN DAELE and second husband Joe COOPER. Trudy was affectionately known as the pie lady and dock mistress of Bayhaven Camp, Stokes Bay for many years. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas St. E. (at Wavell) on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 1 p.m. (visitation one hour prior). Interment Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at a later date. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

ONDERWATER, Paulus Leonardus
Suddenly in the Dominican Republic, Sunday March 2, 2008, while on vacation, Paulus Leonardus ONDERWATER of London in his 82nd year. Survived by loving companion and best friend Carolyn BROWN (SODERMAN.) Paul was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth ONDERWATER (SCHWANZ) 2001. Dearly loved father of Annette DAEMEN (Harry,) Paul, Michele HEISLER (William), Tom (Jennifer), Jeff (Nancy). Loving and proud Opa of Rachel (Jeff), Andrea, Robert (Amanda), Adrian, Stephanie, Vanessa (Bill), Dominic, Marc, Matthew, Kris, Jordan and Melissa. Great-grandchildren Robbie, Daemen, Avery and Theresa. Lovingly remembered by step-grandchildren Bill (Angie), Bob and Nick. Born in Leidschendam, Holland, August 16, 1926 he was predeceased by his parents Margretha DE WINTER and Cornelius ONDERWATER brothers and sisters Piet, Jan, Marie, Leen, Riek, Jo, Leny, Nelly. Survived by brother Cor (Nel) and extended families mostly in Holland. Also loved by stepchildren Judy KERR (Randy,) Pauline SCHWANZ and extended families. Paul worked at Victoria Hospital, South Street Campus for almost 40 years, retiring as Charge Hand Painter in Engineering Services. He was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church, the Dutch Canadian Club, the Boys and Girls Club of London and The Kiwanis Club as well as other local volunteer groups. Paul enjoyed life with a passion for family, travel, music and dancing and there were always Opa's rules. Friends may call on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at James A. Harris Funeral Home, 220 Saint_James Street at Richmond, where the funeral service will be held Saturday, March 29 at 10 a.m. Interment St. Peters Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and for those wishing to make a donation in his memory, please consider The Boys and Girls Club of London or the Kiwanis Club of Thames Valley Fanshawe.

MOGK, Frieda Christina (née BRODHAGEN)
Gracefully entered the Lord's Kingdom on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at the Mitchell Nursing Home, Mitchell, in her 92nd year. Born at the family farm at Brodhagen on February 3rd, 1917 with Doctor A.V.H. MICHELL in attendance, she was the daughter of the late John W. BRODHAGEN and the former Carrie C. MEYER. On October 23, 1937, Frieda married Harold MOGK who predeceased her on July 19, 1978. Beloved mother of Nancy Elizabeth WEITZEL who predeceased her on May 3rd, 2006. Dear mother-in-law of Robert Jacob WEITZEL who predeceased her on September 14, 2007. She showered her grandchildren Jason Robert WEITZEL and wife Bonnie and Rebecca Elizabeth WEITZEL and great-grandchildren Brandon, Kesha and Darian with love and support. Dear sister of Milton BRODHAGEN (Joan) of R.R.#1 Brunner. Dear sister-in-law of Aletha MOGK of Saint Thomas and Gertrude LAWSON of Woodstock. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters Reuben (Mabel) BRODHAGEN, Martha (Roy) DAER, Edward (Mary) BRODHAGEN, Georgina (Elmer) FORD, Wilfrid BRODHAGEN and Elsie (Melvin) Voll, sister-in-law Helen BRODHAGEN and brother-in-law Carman MOGK. Frieda was a devoted parishioner at Saint Peter's Lutheran Church in Brodhagen where she was proud to be an honorary member of the E.L.W. Family and Friends are welcomed to join her family in the celebration of her life at the Lockhart Funeral Home, 109 Montreal Street, Mitchell on Sunday 2-4 p.m. The funeral service will take place at Saint Peter's Lutheran Church in Brodhagen on Monday at 11: 00 a.m. with Pastor Steve JOHNSTON officiating. Interment in Saint Peter's Cemetery. Memorial donations to Saint Peter's Lutheran Church or Mitchell Nursing Home Enrichment Fund would be appreciated.
