MacDONALD, Gerald " Gerry"
Mr. Gerald MacDONALD of R.R.#3 Ingleside, Ontario. suddenly at the Brockville General Hospital on Monday February 18, 2008 at the age of 63 years. (Retired Educator - Huron Superior Catholic District School Board.) Beloved husband of Sherry MELANCHUK. Loving father of Cheryl Ann TALBOT (Jeff,) London; and Janet Lynn MacDONALD of Brockville. Dear brother of Vincent MacDONALD (Meike); Garry MacDONALD; Heather BRUNET (Marcel); Allan MacDONALD (Joanne); Bonnie CUMMING (Malcolm); Cathy MacDONALD; Kevin MacDONALD and Dianne MacDONALD and brother-in-law of Mary MacDONALD. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Ian and Claire TALBOT. Dear son of Lily (SHAVER) MacDONALD of Cornwall, and the late Vincent Felix MacDONALD. Predeceased by one brother Donald. Rested at the Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, Ontario. K6J 3S2 (613) 938-3888. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell was celebrated by his nephew Reverend Matthew BRUNET assisted by Reverend Bernard CAMERON in St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church on Friday February 22, 2008. Rite of Committal at a later date in St. Andrews Parish Cemetery, St. Andrews West, Ontario. If so desired contributions to the St. Andrews Parish Restoration Fund or the Lost Villages Historical Society would be preferred by the family. Gerry recently acknowledged that the past ten years were his happiest. He had time to spend with his much loved family - especially the two little loves of his life, Claire and Ian. He pursued his passions - a life long interest in geneology and automobiles. He was an active participant of the Lost Villages Society and the St. Andrews Knights of Columbus Council. At University Hospital, London, on Sunday, March 23rd, 2008, Audrey (CUMMING) MacKENZIE of London in her 89th year. Predeceased by her husband Alexander. Lovingly remembered by her daughters Cheryl and Wendy. Dear sister of Marguerite ROOT. A very special aunt to Lynn and Rick PALMER, and their children Jeff and John, Julie and Rob and Scott and Dawn. Also remembered by her many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Audrey's life will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas Street (at Wavell), London, on Saturday March 29th at 1: 30 p.m. beginning with an Eastern Star Service. Memorial donations appreciated to Knollwood Park Presbyterian Church or University Hospital.

BUTTLE, Albert Charles Henry " Bert"
Peacefully at Trillium Mississauga, on Tuesday, March 25th, in his 87th year. Dearly loved husband of Gwendoline May (née HARRIES.) Loving father of Eileen (Ron WILKE), Tom, Peter (Lesley) and Moyra (Dave CUMMING.) Proud grandfather of Lauri (Craig SACCHETTI,) Sherri (Gary THOMPSON/THOMSON/TOMPSON/TOMSON), Peter, Aaron, Margorie, John Paul, Meghan, Jeffrey, Darryl and Daniel. Very proud great-grandfather of Ashlee, Brendan, Brittany and Nicola. He was predeceased by brother Arthur and sister Margorie. Bert was born and raised in the United Kingdom, a World War 2 paratrooper, emigrated to Canada in August 1957 and worked for Domtar as a Master Electrician, then with the Government of Ontario, Ministry of Colleges and Universities, Trades, until his retirement in 1986. After retiring he volunteered for 20 years as a driver for the Red Cross. Bert was known and highly regarded for his integrity, and sense of humour. He was a staunch supporter of any activity his children and grandchildren participated in, and was always so proud of their accomplishments. We are grateful that he was able to witness Jeffrey's World Championship Gold Medal this weekend. The family plans to hold a memorial mass at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church (2300 Burnhamthorpe Rd W., Mississauga) on Saturday March 29, 2008 at 11 a.m. His body has been donated to the University of Toronto at his request. The family will be holding a celebration of his life in the summer. They will raise their glasses in celebration of a life well-lived. No flowers please. Donations in his memory to the Oncology department of Tr illium Mississauga or to the Cancer Society. Thank you to the dedicated Doctors and Nurses who made his stay with them peaceful.

Beloved husband of Claire (CUMMINGS) HEPBURN and the late Barbara June (BROWN) HEPBURN (2002.) Dear father of Linda MOSSEY and her husband Bill of Aylmer and Michael HEPBURN and his wife Wanda of R.R.#2, Saint Thomas. Loved by his grandchildren Michelle MOSSEY and Stacey DEUTSCH and husband Shane, David HEPBURN and Jessica, and Danny HEPBURN and Julie. Great-grandfather of Carter and Gavin. Brother of Geraldine ANTCLIFFE of Saint Thomas, Freda McGREGOR and husband Alex of Saint Thomas and Norma McCALLUM and husband Bert of Aylmer. Brother-in-law of Anne and Gwen HEPBURN of Saint Thomas. Predeceased by brothers Neil, Ike and Bud and sisters Amy COX and Nettie CAMPBELL. Born in Yarmouth Township, Ontario on November 6, 1933 son of the late John and Alma (SMITH) HEPBURN. Elmer John was a life long resident of Yarmouth Township. He was a dairy farmer and a member of Holstein Canada Friends may call at the H.A. CUMMINS, Beverly Anne (née COLLINS)
It is with great sadness our family announces the sudden loss of a beloved and devoted mother, daughter, sister, grandmother and good friend to all who knew her, on Thursday January 3rd, 2008. Devoted daughter of Dorothy and the late James COLLINS. Loving mother of Vicky and her husband John EDMONDS and Louise and her husband Paul ORAM. Cherished Grammie/Mimi of Liam, Toria and Grace. Survived by her dear siblings George COLLINS and his wife Eileen and Mary PARANCHYCH and her husband Fred. Anne will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, her Irish and extended family and many Friends. Friends may call on Wednesday January 9th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). Funeral service will be held at the R.S. Kane Chapel on Thursday January 10th, 2008 at 1 o'clock. Cremation to follow. Interment, Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus at a later date.
