BRITTON, Noriene E., R.N.
Noriene E. BRITTON 71, of Riverview, New Brunswick, with her daughter Karen at her side, passed away peacefully of pulmonary fibrosis at The Moncton Hospital on Wednesday, January 9, 2008. Noriene was a retired Registered Nurse at The Moncton Hospital, 6600/ Oncology Unit. Noriene will be sadly missed by her daughter and best friend, Karen COBB, Toronto; brother-in-law, Grant FANCY and his special friend Lynne; nieces, Heather Kennedy McQUEEN, Lori Brown BLACK, Chrissy FANCY; nephews, David and Peter KENNEDY, Dan, Bruce and Kevin FANCY; as well as an enormous circle of Friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Betty KENNEDY and Melissa FANCY; nephew, Douglas FANCY. Funeral service, Mount Royal United Church, Mount Royal Blvd., Moncton, Sunday, January 13, 2008, 1: 30 p.m. Rev. Ron Maund officiating. At Four Counties Health Services, Newbury, on Thursday, February 21, 2008, Edward GRAY/GREY of R.R.#4 Alvinston in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Fay (CHITTEM) GRAY/GREY, and father of Bonnie (Declan MULCAHY,) Lenore MacDONELL, Gwen (Bedford TAILOR/TAYLOR) amd Jane (Darell PARKER). Predeceased by one son. Grandfather of Heather and Jessica PARKER, Karyn and Niamh MULCAHY. Brother of Audrey COBBAN and Ruth GRAHAM and the late Donald GRAY/GREY. Brother-in-law of Mary GRAY/GREY. Predeceased by his parents, Charles and Marjorie (Lovell) GRAY/GREY. Ed was born 84 years ago in Brooke Township and lived there nearly all his life. He was employed by school boards in Essex and Lambton Counties and was a trustee for the Lambton County Board of Education for several years. He played baseball and softball in Alvinston, coached Hockey and baseball teams in Alvinston and took a keen interest in local sports. Cremation has taken place. At Ed's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private interment of Ashes will be held at a later date. No flowers, but if desired, a memorial donation may be made to Four Counties Health Services Foundation, Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation or the Brain Tumour Foundation by contacting the Van Heck Funeral Home, Glencoe 519-287-2831.

COBBAN, Daniel " Danny"
In loving memory of Daniel (Danny) who was taken suddenly on March 9, 2006. He had a personality you couldn't help loving and a heart that wouldn't stop giving. He was a wonderful husband and father with countless Friends. Dan fought and lost a courageous battle. He will be in our hearts and memories forever. Sadly missed Mum and family, Caroline, Lisa and Kelsey.

PARRISH, Archibald Ralph
Died June 19th in Burnaby, British Columbia, of congestive heart failure after a short illness. Born in Chatham, Ontario April 17, 1923 to Margaret and Merle PARRISH, Ralph was the 4th of 6 children whose work ethic bore the imprint of the MacNaughton tartan. He graduated from Queens University in 1947. Lover of light, music and lifelong learning, Ralph worked and played predominantly on the West Coast, reserving the biting eastern cold for seasonal celebrations with family and piping hot meals. Music and family were, beyond all, the lights of his life. His opus now complete, its resonance tolls through the generations. His heart rests now, with Eleanore's, the silence between the notes. Surviving are his sister Eileen, daughter Joan and son-in-law Steve COBBOLD, son Rob and daughter-in-law Marian, son Dave, and grandchildren Sarah and Peter COBBOLD, Evan and Stephanie PARRISH, and Andreas IRION. As the Duke was wont to say… "We love you madly.In" lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation."

Peacefully into the arms of the Lord at Gateway Haven in Wiarton Tuesday morning July 15, 2008 after a courageous and valiant fight. The former Jean COBDEN of Brantford in her 78th year. Loving mother of Kathryn and her husband Paul SALES of Sauble Beach and James and his wife Charlene of Brantford. Cherished Gramma Jean to Craig (Julie), Karyn (Jay), Jeanette, Sarah, James (Stacy), Jennifer (Shayne) and one great-grandchild Emma. Dear sister of Don (Charlotte,) Frances STEVENS and Thomas. Predeceased by her parents Tom and Anne and sister Mary HOLLANDS. At Jean's request there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. HEATH, Nora J. (née KNIGHT)
Passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital at the age of 64 years.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, Sally HEATH and Andrew REEDER, Mary and Curtis McCONE, John HEATH and Carrie COBDEN, Jack HEATH and dear friend, Eleanor WALDIE. Predeceased by her parents, Norman and Doreen KNIGHT.
Nora was born in Stratford, Ontario in 1943 and graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a degree in Psychology in 1964. After graduation, she worked for the Children's Aid society before devoting herself full-time to raising her three children. Later in life, she managed a Tim Hortons in Waterloo, where she had many devoted fans and customers. In her spare time, Nora loved spending time with her dogs and her children, baking, and listening to Stuart McLean on Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Nora with her family during visitation at the Erb and Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, on Wednesday, July 2, 2008 from 12-12: 45 p.m., with a memorial service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to follow the service. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at Cross Hill Cemetery at a later date.

Founder and President, Dale's Carpentry. At the Grey-Bruce Health Services in Southampton, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, May 25th, 2008, at the age of 65 years, Dale CHAPPELL, of Saugeen Shores, husband and best friend for 46 years of the former Carol CAREFOOT, dear father of Kim, and Terry and his wife Tina, all of Saugeen Shores, Grandpa to Brittney KING and Ricardo JORGE of Hanover, Megan and Ashley KING, and Kenton and Travis CHAPPELL. Also surviving are two step-granddaughters Leia and her husband Eric, and Lauren and her husband Jason, and three step-great-granddaughters. Dale is also survived by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Bev and Walter HYDE of Manitoulin Island, by two nephews Richard and Paul HYDE, and by two nieces Christy MacKAY and Tammy COBEAN. Predeceased by his parents Cecil and Mary CHAPPELL, and by his brother Don. Friends may call at the W. Kent Milroy Port Elgin Chapel, 510 Mill Street, Port Elgin from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday evening, May 27th. Passed away peacefully, to be with his Lord, at General and Marine Hospital, Collingwood, on Sunday February 24th, 2008, in his 89th year. Allan, beloved husband of Kathleen (née CULHAM.) Loving dad of Sherry and her husband George BRISTOW, Brad, Lori and her husband David BATES. Dear grandpa of Carrie (Josh,) Tara Mae (her fiancé Glen), Emily, Jeffrey, Daniel, Cassie, Charlotte and Rachel.
