He was born in Toronto, Ontario on July 29, 1922, a

He will be sadly missed by his son Harold A.
CAVALIER of East
Randolph, New York; two half sisters in Toronto and several nieces
and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Bernice L.
(HOOPER)
CAVALIER in 2002.
There will be no prior visitation. Friends are invited to attend
Funeral Services Saturday 10 a.m. in the Niagara Falls Memorial
Park Cemetery Chapel, 5871 Military Road, Lewiston. Arrangements

of Hamilton, October 23, 1921. He was a member of the Argyle
and Sutherland Highlanders and served his country in war with
the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps, achieving the rank of
1st Lieutenant. After many years as District Manager with the
Fuller Brush Company in Winnipeg and Burlington, and known for
his meticulous work habits, he was sought after by, and contracted
with, many large companies. George was a member of the Royal
Canadian Legion Br. #501, Lambeth, where he was welcomed and
cared for by members and Friends. Many thanks to them and a very
special tribute to the nurses and staff of the Western Counties
Wing, #3rd Floor "Kent" and Doctor D.
CAVANAUGH for their outstanding
care of our Dad. At George's request, there is to be no funeral
service. Cremation has taken place. Interment alongside his sweetheart

Reg passed away on February 28, 2008 at his home in London, in
his 85th year. For more than 80 years, Reg lived in Melbourne
where he and Aileen built and operated a successful trucking
and fuel oil delivery business until he retired. Reg proudly
supported the community: serving in various positions at the
Melbourne United Church, and Dufferin Masonic Lodge #364, and
was instrumental in the building of the Townline Terrace Apartments.
He served many years on the Caradoc Township Council (councilor
and reeve) and Melbourne Volunteer Fire Department. Reg was also
proud to be a Shriner's "Roadrunner". Family and Friends will
be received at Elliott Madill Funeral Home, 22424 Adelaide Road,
Mount Brydges, on Sunday, March 2nd from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
with a Masonic Service at 6: 30 p.m. Visitation will continue

She served on both the Board of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra
and Roy Thomson Hall. She was an enthusiastic member of the Toronto
Herb Society, and enjoyed her many weekly bridge games. She led
a very active life right up into her late eighties playing tennis
twice weekly, skiing at Osler Bluff Ski Club, playing golf at
Rosedale Golf Club, skippering her Albacore and Flying Scot,
and enjoying the religious morning plunge into Georgian Bay off
the rocks of Land's End. Mary's spirit will always rest at her
beloved island, Wawonaissa, at Pointe au Baril where she spent
every summer of her life. Since 1954 when they bought property
at Mansfield, her weekend ritual was roosting at Whippoorwill
Hill and she cherished the hills and the many Friends that surrounded
her there.
There will be a celebration of her life on Monday January 21st
at Eglinton St. George's United Church, corner of Lytton and
Duplex Ave. Toronto at 2 o'clock. Reception following at Rosedale
Golf Club, 1901 Mt. Pleasant Road. In lieu of flowers, please
consider a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.

She lived in Saint Thomas
most of her life. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin
Street, Saint Thomas where funeral service will be held Wednesday
at 1: 00 p.m. Interment to follow in Union Cemetery. Visitation
Wednesday from 11: 00-1:00 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the
charity of choice.
