CAHILL, Patricia
Peacefully at Longworth Nursing Home, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, February 12, 2008, Mrs. Patricia CAHILL in her 74th year. Loving mother of John and Jamela CAHILL, and Simon CAHILL. Devoted Nanny of Zachary, Jordan, and Natalie. Sadly missed by her brother Bob ALLAN and family, all in England. Fondly remembered by her dearest Friends Margaret LOWERY/LOWREY/LOWRIE/LOWRY and Joan WELTON. Visitation will be held on Friday from 7: 00-9:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 4: 00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Pat are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society-Research. DAVIES, Margaret " Peggy" (née CAHILL)
It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Margaret "Peggy" DAVIES (née CAHILL,) in her 85th year. Peggy passed peacefully in the loving arms of her husband, John Marshall DAVIES on Saturday, March 15th, 2008. Peggy was born in Clonmel, County Tipperary, Ireland on December 7th, 1923. "It's a long way to Tipperary" but Peggy was surrounded by her loving family from Halifax, Nova Scotia to various locations throughout Ontario. She is survived by her children, who brought her great joy: Patricia BLACKMAN (Jim), Ann DAVIES, Marguerite AZIZ (Robert), Shaun DAVIES (Nicole), James DAVIES (Jennifer,) Rosalind SWEENEY (Michael.) She was very proud of all 11 grandchildren and one great-grand_son: James (Emily) and Ashley BLACKMAN, Nicholas and Jonathan AZIZ, Kiefer, Madigan and Beckett DAVIES, Nigel and Tiernan DAVIES, Emma and Fionnuala SWEENEY and Michael BLACKMAN. Peggy was a dear sister and sister-in-law to Terry CAHILL (Margaret,) Phyllis GREENE, Maudie BLACK (Donald) and Peggy Vans AGNEW and predeceased Kathleen CAHILL. There will be a funeral mass held this Wednesday, March 19th, 2008 at 11: 00 a.m. at Saint Martin of Tours, 46 Cathcart Street, London, Ontario. Many thanks to McCormick Home Alzheimers Outreach Services and the Catholic Women's League. In lieu of flowers donations to the McCormick Home Alzheimers Outreach Services or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

At the Montreal General Hospital on April 27, 2008. In loving memory, survived by his wife Helen, son Edward (Diane), Sister Jutta (Ernest), brother Peter (Jessie), nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife Elaine and son David. A retired psychiatrist, at the time of his retirement on July 1, 2003 he had served Douglas Hospital in various capacities for over 50 years, including that of Director of Professional Services. He has been an Honourary Member since 2003. His book entitled "Douglas Hospital. 100 years of history and progress" was published in 1981. Visitation at Mount Royal Funeral Complex, 1297 Chemin de la Foret, Outremont, Québec (514) 279-6540, Tuesday April 29 from 12: 00 noon, funeral service at 2: 00 p.m.
