SHAW, Gerry
Peacefully at his home in Port Franks on Monday, June 9th, 2008. Gerry will be deeply missed by his loving family. Wife and friend of 48 years Gladys (née MORRISON,) daughters Jody and son-in-law Daniel BOILEAU (Sechelt, British Columbia), Jennifer and son-in-law Paul BROUWER (London.) " Grampy" to Allison and Thea, his little sweethearts who will miss him dearly. Born in Morcambe, England in 1933, Gerry emigrated to Canada in 1948 with his late parents Jack and Jane SHAW. Survived by siblings Kathleen MacDONALD (Don) of London, Phyllis NEEDHAM (Don ELLIS) of Wasaga Beach, David SHAW (Janet) of Glenwood, Newfoundland. and Anne MUIR (Wilson) of Wasaga Beach. Gerry will be missed by Ross and Louise MORRISON of Mount Forest and Grant and Elsie MORRISON of Courtney, British Columbia. Gerry will also be missed by many nieces and nephews who have fond memories of their summer visits to the cottage. A long time resident of London, Ontario, Gerry moved to the cottage in his retirement after 45 years service at the London Free Press, where he made several lifelong Friends. He was an avid lover of birds and nature, and enjoyed his time spent with Friends and family at Port Franks. Sincere thanks from Gerry's family to Doctor Brian DINGLE and Nancy FULTON at the London Regional Cancer Centre, the nursing staff of C7 300 and Doctor JEJE at Victoria Hospital in London. Heartfelt thanks to the Community Care Access Centre and Palliative teams in London and Lambton County, with special gratitude for the compassionate care provided by nurses Linda BURNS and Margaret KAWASE. Visitation will be held at St. Christopher's Roman Catholic Church in Forest (68 Union St.) on Friday, June 13th, 2008 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. followed by Memorial Funeral Mass at 12 p.m. with Fr. Gerard BEDARD celebrant. Private interment of cremated remains will take place at St. Peters Cemetery in London at a later date. Donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, St. Christopher's Church Building Fund or the London Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family. Peacefully at the Grey Bruce Heatlh Services in Owen Sound on Tuesday May 6, 2008. In his 44th year, Wayne L. MOONEY, loving companion and friend of Hélène BOISLARD. Loved father of Christopher and Ashley. Step-father of Melissa. Loved brother of Patricia and her husband Ken MOFFAT, Doreen and her husband Brian LACEY, Howard MOONEY and Debbie BIEMAN. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brother Robert and his parents Harold MOONEY and his wife Leona. Friends may call at the Breckenridge-Ashcroft Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday morning at 11 a.m. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

At Victoria Hospital, London, on Tuesday, February 26th, 2008, Teresa (McCRYSTAL) BOISSONNEAULT of London in her 81st year. Predeceased by her husband Tony. Dear mother of Douglas COUSINEAU and Debra FREEMAN (Kevin.) Predeceased by her daughter Elaine GRAY/GREY and son Dan COUSINEAU. Dear sister of Sr. Carmel McCRYSTAL and predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Also loved by her 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Chapel, 1997 Dundas Street (at Wavell), London, on Thursday, February 28th at 3 p.m. Visitation 1 hour before the service. Suddenly on Thursday, March 13, 2008 in his 61st year. Loving partner of George BOISVENUE. son of the late James SMITH and Maron PRENTICE. Special thanks to the Emergency Medical Services, Toronto Transit Commission and Toronto Police. Cremation followed by a memorial service to be announced at a later date. If desired, a remembrance may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.

O'DONOGHUE, Joseph Patrick, P.Eng (retired)
Born February 20, 1926 in St. Catharines, Ontario. Passed away in Calgary on January 27, 2008 surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. For over 56 years, the loving husband and best friend of Jacqueline LaPrairie O'DONOGHUE. Patient and understanding dad of Maureen (Dwayne GRANT,) Colleen (Barrie MARSH,) Michael, Patrick (Sylvie BOIVIN), Daniel (Deborah), Brian, Joseph (Linda), Sean and Shannon. And Lord knows, we needed plenty of patience and understanding. Tremendous grandfather to Jesse, Jacob, (and their mother Kate); Declan, Brynn (and his mother Rami); Stacey, Mitchell, Kyle, Scott; Marie-Claire, Kilian; Kevin, Shane, Katie (and their mother Cathy); Kaitlyn, Andrew; Kelly, Courtenay and Meaghan. Special uncle to 60 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son Kevin John, sisters Marie, Eileen, and Patricia and brothers John (CSB) and George. Survived by one sister Hope BOUCHARD, Niagra-on-the-Lake, Ontario. Joe was the sixth of seven O'DONOGHUE children of Joseph and Katherine. He joined the Canadian Navy in 1944. After the war Joe attended University of Toronto, graduating with a B. Sc. in Chemical Engineering. He worked for Foster Wheeler Ltd from 1950 to 1991. Joe will be sorely missed by the many family and Friends whose lives he touched with his kind and loving soul. Funeral Mass February 1, 2008 in Calgary, Alberta, celebrated with Joe's nephew The Rev. Michael MAHONEY.
