Peacefully at Riverview Gardens, Chatham, on Saturday February 16, 2008, Johanna "Jeannette" W. STEEGHS, age 93, of Chatham, beloved wife of the late Martin STEEGHS (1974.) Born in Helden, Holland in 1915, daughter of the late Regina TRIENEKENS and Gerardus VANLIER. Loving mother of Nellie VAN DER VENNE (Adrian) of Leamington, Gerda BUZAN (Karlo) of Melbourne, Agnes LAMERS (Willie) Blenheim, Martin STEEGHS (Regina) Whitby, Mia SADDINGTON (Hal) of Chatham, John STEEGHS (Colette,) Anita STEEGHS of Port Bruce and Jeannette ROACH (Ron) of Ottawa. Sadly missed by 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great-grandchildren. Also sadly missed by a son-in-law Louis VAN DEN BOGAART, by 4 sisters and one brother and by many relatives in Holland. She is predeceased by a daughter Gina VAN DEN BOGAART (2006,) 2 grandchildren; Kelley ROACH (1990) and Shawna ROACH (1986) and one brother in 1988. Friends and relatives may call at the Hinnegan-Peseski Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday February 19, 2008 where Parish Prayers will be offered on Tuesday at 7 pm.. Of Saint Thomas, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2008, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Bruce Gordon WALTERS (1995) and dearly loved mother of Nelson and his wife Barb WALTERS of London, Phyllis and her husband Kim COOK of Saint Thomas, Chris and her husband Larry BOGART of Saint Thomas, Dennis and his wife Annie WALTERS of Saint Thomas, Janice and her husband Mike URBAN of Saint Thomas and the late Mark WALTERS (1958.) Dear sister of Mae CARROLL of Lambeth, Harriet and her husband Ray CLAYTON of Saint Thomas, Bruce and his wife Penny TOLMIE of Aylmer. Predeceased by two sisters, Sheila ROGERS and Evelyn CROSBY. Dear sister-in-law of Bill ROGERS of Saint Thomas. Sadly missed by 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Lila was born in Windsor on December 7th, 1924, the daughter of the late George and Catherine TOLMIE. She was a member of Knox Presbyterian Church. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, Saint Thomas where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1: 00 p.m. Interment to follow in Elmdale Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Salvation Army.

Of Saint Thomas, passed away Sunday, April 13th, 2008, at the Saint Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in her 72nd year. Beloved wife of the late Glynn Allan McINTYRE and dearly loved mother of Myles and his wife Toni ROSS of Saint Thomas, Cindy and her companion Ron ALDEN of Saint Thomas, Dawn and her husband Jeffrey TAILOR/TAYLOR of Pickering and Wendi and her companion Barry BOGART of Saint Thomas. Dear sister of Carol CHAPMAN of Thunder Bay, Cathy and husband Barry WATMOUGH of British Columbia, Harley and his wife Pauline ROSS of Ailsa Craig, Juantia and her husband Ralph McLEOD of Ingersoll and Veldora and her husband Jim SCOTT of Parkhill. Loved grandmother of Glynn "J.R." McINTYRE, Nicholas ROSS, Alex McINTYRE, Cole ROSS, Amanda and Victoria TAILOR/TAYLOR. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Gwen was born in Springfield on August 13, 1936, the daughter of the late John and Hazel (ION) ROSS. A special thank you to the many people who cared for Gwen during her illness. A public Memorial service to celebrate Gwen's life will be held at Komoka United Church, 110 Lawrence Street, Komoka on Saturday, April 19th at 2: 00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Loving father of Susan ROWLES (Steve,) of London, Joe BOGDAN (Holly ALLEN) of Toronto, and Lisa BOGDAN (Dave McMANUS) of London. Also loved by five grandchildren. McCULLOCH, Doctor Michael Alexander
(November 18, 1932-May 4, 2008)
After a long brave battle with leukemia, Michael left this world to sing, ski, play tennis and golf in the next. He died peacefully at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital where he had been a staff member for 45 years. Lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife Ann (Rainnie) and children Gillian (Gord BOGDEN,) Pam (Jon TYNER,) Gavin (Carolyn MEACHER,) Maggie (Jeff AYOUB) and Matthew (Danah DUKE.) Also missed by his grandchildren Scott, Blake, Jamie, Nicholas, Luke, Heather, Clare, Logan and Tala. Survived by his brothers Bob (Virginia) and Ian (Maria) and many nieces and nephews. Michael was born in Montreal. He attended Bishops College School where he was head Prefect. He graduated from Dalhousie Medical School in 1959 and went on to be a family doctor (Dr. Mike) in Oakville. He also cherished his years as the school doctor at Appleby College and camp doctor at Kilcoo. His passion was for his family, his patients, teaching about diabetes to whomever would listen, and lately singing with the Oakville Entertainers. A fine athlete, he will be missed on the hills of Holimont and on the course of the Toronto Golf Club. A special thank-you to Doctor ROUSE and all the staff on 2E, especially Bev and Joanne and his fans at the Halton Diabetes Program. A Funeral Service will be held at Saint_Jude's Anglican Church, 160 William Street, Oakville on Thursday, May 8th, 2008 at 2: 00 p.m. Reception to follow. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, please give the gift of blood. Donations can be made to the Oakville Hospital Foundation or the OHF Halton Diabetes Program. Good friend to many, especially his co-workers at the Toronto Transit Commission, where Lou spent nearly 50 years.
