BIDDIE, Gordon James
Passed away peacefully, at his residence, in Cambridge, with his family by his side, on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 in his 75th year. Loving and devoted husband of Doreen for 53 years. Cherished father of Joanne and her husband Chris TINDALL of Ottawa and Jeff BIDDIE and his wife Joan of Bolton. Special grandfather of Jeremy, Darrin, Kristin, Brittany, Katie and Dustin. Predeceased by his brother Les BIDDIE. Family will receive Friends at Coutts Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 96 St. Andrew's Street, Cambridge (519) 621-1650 on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Friday, January 25, 2008 at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Loving mother and mother-in-law of Elaine and Rabbi Howard HOFFMAN, Marsha and Howard FELDBERG, and Carol and Gordon MONTGOMERY. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Pearl and Hy CHUD, Jean BIDERMAN, Sylvia and Sollie FINKELSTEIN, Helen and the late Len BROWN, the late Harry and Frances BIDERMAN, the late Morris and Anne STEIN, and the late Bella and Aaron SKOLNICK. Devoted grandmother of Merav, Tirtzah, Shira, Marc, and Sarah. At Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West (3 lights west of Dufferin) for service on Monday, April 28, 2008 at 3: 00 p.m. Interment Beth David Bnai Israel Section of Pardes Shalom Cemetery. Passed away peacefully on June 1, 2008 at Hannah Walker Place, Owen Sound, after a courageous battle with cancer. She will be deeply missed by her children, Debralee BIDGOOD and her son Michael Robert MacALEESE; Victoria MacALEESE and her children Christopher HILL, Cara HILL- McMILLAN and her husband Chris and their children Samantha and Austin; Angela PATTESON and her husband Cliff and their children Ryan, Amanda and Rochelle; and Bob ENNS. Also survived by her sister Fay McKENZIE and her husband William. Joy was a long time member and volunteer with the Owen Sound Little Theatre and the Georgian Bay Folk Society, which gave her great joy in her life. Joy's family and Friends will remember her artistic, crafty and writing talents. A celebration of life will be planned later in the summer. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Canadian Diabetes Association. Peacefully at University Hospital, on Tuesday, April 29, 2008, Edith (ROBINSON) BENTLEY of London in her 76th year. Loving mother of Joan BIDNER (Ken), Jean McCALLUM (Gord), and Ross BENTLEY (Cathy). Much loved grandmother of Christina (Jason), Michael (Carol), Sarah (Ken), Lesley, Brent, Elizabeth and Jennifer, and great-grandmother of Cameron, Colin, Carson, Melanie and Bethanie. Dear sister of Doreen ZENTMEYER (Bob) and Louise BUSH. Also remembered by Ken BENTLEY. Edith cherished her family and enjoyed the companionship of her many bridge and golf Friends. Edith's life will be celebrated at the London Hunt and Country Club, 1431 Oxford Street West, on Saturday, May 3, 2008 from 1: 00-3:00 p.m. Private family interment will take place at St. George's Cemetery, Hyde Park. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Edith are asked to consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
