on March 30, 2008. Bill leaves behind his loving wife, Norma

ELDER, his four grandchildren, Mara
Anne BEYEA, Colin MacNeill
BEYEA, Christopher William
ELDER and
Jessica Jeanne
ELDER.
His loving nieces and nephew, Cathy, Celia
and David, and his cousin Ramsey
MacDOUGAL and his close family
friend Phyllis
BALDWIN.
Bill was born on November 3, 1921 and
was in his 87th year. Bill grew up in Owen Sound, and at 19 years
of age enlisted with the Royal Canadian Air Force. He served
as a Flight Lieutenant during World War 2, Flying with the Coastal
Command in Iceland, England and in the Azores. Following the
war, Bill attended University of Toronto where he earned a degree
in Aeronautical Engineering. Following his post secondary schooling,
Bill joined McRae Engineering Equipment Ltd. He retired as President
and Chairman of McRae Engineering Equipment Ltd. In 1988. Bill
was an avid golfer and member of the Donalda Club. He will be
greatly missed by his family and Friends. We would like to acknowledge
the wonderful loving care that Bill received at Sunrise of Aurora.
We thank you so much. Friends may visit at The Marshall Funeral
Home, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill (4th traffic light north
of Major Mackenzie Dr.), on Thursday, April 3, 2008 from 7-9 p.m.
Funeral service will be held on Friday at 2: 30 p.m. in the chapel.
In Bill's memory donations may be made to the Ontario Heart and
Stroke Foundation.
