NUNN, Doris May
Of Owen Sound, formerly of Ferndale and Cambridge, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2008 in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of the late John Stanley (Jack) NUNN (1998.) Cherished mother of Margaret (David) McCALLUM of Miller Lake, Donna (Jim) BEVAN of Cambridge, John NUNN (Lynn HOPPS) of Waterloo and Betty UMBACH (Jack HUTTON) of Wiarton. She will be sadly missed by 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, brothers Gerald (Margaret) HAMILTON of Winnipeg and Larry (Janet) HAMILTON of Cambridge and sister Dorothy (Paul) HOCH of Kincardine. Doris was predeceased by her parents Dorothy (WALLER) and Russell HAMILTON, 2 brothers and 1 sister. A graveside service will be held at Eastnor Cemetery spring 2008. Details will be posted when available. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the George Funeral Home, Wiarton. Donations made to the Wiarton Hospital or Lion's head Hospital would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy. BREEN, Allan Roy
Peacefully at Millennium Trail Manor in Niagara Falls, on Saturday, May 31st, 2008, in his 86th year. He was the son of the late Albert BREEN and Eliza Jane CHARLTON. A Merchant Navy Veteran, he later married and moved to Port Colborne from Owen Sound. Beloved husband of Laura ERICKSON, of St. Catharines. Cherished father of Patricia Anne McINTYRE and her husband, Rand, of Cambridge. Dear brother of Rita GOETZ, of Shallow Lake and Leonard BREEN, of Owen Sound. Loving step-father of Cathy LUXMORE, Carol ERICKSON and step-grandfather of Matthew. Predeceased by his first wife, Doris FLOOD, three brothers, Fred, Norman and Nelson and three sisters, Sally BEVAN, Vera BAWCUTT and Alma McBRIDE. Al will be sadly missed by both family members and Friends. A Memorial Service for Alan BREEN will take place in the Chapel of the Brian E. In Johannesburg, South Africa on Sunday, July 6, 2008, Jennifer Anne BEVERLEY, 36, beloved wife of Curt YARDLEY of Johannesburg, and doting mother of son Alex, age 19 months. Caring stepmother of Jason and Rowan YARDLEY, of Brisbane, Australia. Dear daughter of Shirley BEVERLEY, of Barrie and Michael and Perry BEVERLEY of Brockville. Jennifer will be greatly missed by her sister Christa BEVERLEY and brother-in-law Michael PHILLIPS and the three Phillips children, Cierra, Parker and Keaton, all of Barrie, as well as her step-siblings David TAILOR/TAYLOR, of Toronto, Dorcas TAILOR/TAYLOR, of Montreal, and Hunter TAILOR/TAYLOR of New York City. She also leaves to mourn her paternal grandmother Audrey LETT, of Oakville, and uncles, aunts and cousins in the Lett and Bryan families. She will be sorely missed by mother and father-in-law, Eris and Lester YARDLEY and sister-in-law Astrid MAYO, all of Kent, England, as well as Curt's aunt and uncle Rona and Manfred SCHUTTE, of Johannesburg. Throughout her illness, Jennifer was loved and supported by her devoted Friends Louise Louw and Laura Kirk. A Memorial Service will be held in Johannesburg.
